Gothenburg concert to be filmed?

GOTHENBURG (UPDATED) - “Will you go to Per Gessle’s concert on Wednesday? Then you may appear on his live-DVD” starts an article published today in Göteborgs-Posten.
According to the newspaper, Per is looking into the possibility of recording this summer’s success tour on film. “It depends on getting everything to work,” says Per’s manager Marie Dimberg. The goal is to start the recordings in Trädgårdsföreningen (Gothenburg), which is sold-out, and then use the recordings to make a documentary-DVD about Per’s tour. The decision will be made on Friday.
The music-DVD sales in Sweden has increased about 352% up to 240,000 sold copies in the first half of the year and Göteborgs-Posten believes that a DVD with Per would become a great success and make these figures even better. The DVD that’s outselling everything right now is Tomas Ledin’s “Just då”.
Update 8/1/2003: EMA Telstar has announced that this concert has been moved from Trädgårdsföreningen to Slottsskogsvallen and, as this is a larger venue, additional tickets will be available today.

Would have been fine if they had recorded the Halmstad concert..that show kicked ass! I hope they decide to record some other shows!! DO IT!

Yea, please release the concert AND a documentary on DVD (there is enough space on a DVD for both). Would be great to have a high quality video recording of the show!

Great! but please, i think it’s much better a full gig dvd, not as återtåget, that leaves you wanting to hear and watch the whole songs from beginning to end. Include the documentary as an extra like someone mentioned.

Yes this would be great! Especially cause I live in Australia and there is no way I can go to a show, but they have to put a whole show and then as an extra a documentary that would be fab!
Of course if Marie preformed with Per on that song and they filmed it, that would be perfect :)

Now they have changed the venue in Gothenburg to Slottsskogsvallen! This means 5000 extra tickets. It´s also confirmed that the concert will be filmed. Rock´n roll! :)

i preferred the other one venue, because it was closer to the downtown, and it was where gt and marie played before... anyway, this means that per’s tour is successful, so i’m glad as well.
the new venue is just in the south part of slottsskogen park, isn’t it?
