Marie Fredriksson enjoyed McCartney live

STOCKHOLM - Last week we reported about a nice surprise for all Marie Fredriksson fans: Marie has recorded a song for Per Gessle’s new album “Mazarin”. “Marie is on her way back,” said Per then to Aftonbladet.

  And she certainly is: Marie attended Paul McCartney’s concert in Globen, Stockholm, last night. Marie is a big fan of The Beatles and McCartney, so of course she couldn’t miss this event, that lasted almost three hours and was followed by 13,000 in the audience. Marie’s friend Eva Dahlgren and Benny Andersson were other artists that could be seen at the show.


  Aftonbladet published earlier a picture of Marie at the concert, where you could see she seems very happy.

Well your optimism is good but I guess I had a totally different reaction to seeing this picture. Marie was never this bold (skin-head) in any of her videos. I’d never seen her like this ever! So seeing this picture shocked me and I went oh very bald and shooooot before even reading the article. It’s very good that she is coming back but I could never imagine her this bald even when I knew she was going through chemo. Weird feeling!

With or without hair, it doesn’t matter to me as long as we still have Roxette for a long time! Plus she does seem “healthy and happy” and that’s what really matters!!!

I think she looks gorgeous. But do you remember Per said a few weeks ago that her hair was back? So it seems that she shaved her own head. You can see the stubble and chemo usually doesn’t leave stubble on your head. I heard that hair grows too thin on places that have had radiation so maybe she shaved it to make it grow thicker, or maybe she just really likes this look! I think it’s cool.

what the... I don’t think Marie LOVES to go around like this, it’s not like “oh great I have cancer now I can shave my head and look like Micke!” !!!!

One thing is that she shaves it so it looks more uniform and to grow it thick.. another is that she likes it.. and another that it is COOL!
