Got you wrong. Anyway, usually people don’t go out and just get a boyfriend, it’s situations, moments and chemistry that makes it happen. If, until that happens, you have the opportunity to make experiences and your morally ok with it, I’d say go for it learn how great single-life can be. However, if you’re one of the lucky ones and you’ll meet Mr.Perfect tomorrow, go for him. To meet someone you really connect with isn’t easy, to let that person pass because of being inexperienced doesn’t sound right to me.
Besides, you’re still young, so even if you have a boyfriend, chances are you won’t stay with him for the rest of your life…still so much time to make experiences.

I met him at the central station in Rome, we talked for about 1 and a half hours and then we went to the cinema to see “Two weeks notice”... it was a nice day out and I felt like embracing him all the time... but I want to be sure first... :)

For a lot a parents it’s very difficult to accept the homosexuality of their child. You parents seem to take it well, the way I got you.
About their problem with the age difference. Do you think your parents just struggle with it for the fun of it or do you see the possibility that they have reason to question it? Honestly, I do understand your parents and would react the exact same way your parents do. See, I was 16 and the first man in my life was 12 years older. Age difference in general isn’t a big issue the way I see it, but it’s a big issue at the stage of life your in right now. During the next 6-7 years you will learn to see the world with different eyes, there’s a lot you will experience. A 28 year old guy has already gone through this process and sees different values in a relationship than you do...I guarantee you that! I’m not saying the guy you’re with is bad...not at all! You have to understand your parents, they are worried and if you ask me...they have reason to.
