Gyllene Tider performs secret gig - again

STOCKHOLM - Gyllene Tider performed last night at Swedish phone operator Comviq/Tele2’s kick-off event in Alvik outside of Stockholm. About 650 employees from Comviq attended. “This has been planned for a while,” Göran Fritzon, keyboards, explained to Aftonbladet.
Comviq have been trying to get Gyllene Tider to play at one of their kick-off events for years. They succeeded this time because they were a major sponsor of the GT25 tour.

..Pretty cool!!! Must have been a nice event - just to calm down and have fun after such an amazing, crazy outfreakin’ summer. I don’t care if it’s a job for employees at Tele2 or not.. Must have been a cool experience. ..A bit “back to the roots”. ;)

Allthough I can understand it from a commercial point of view (they have to do something for their sponsors who paid LOTS of money for sponsoring the tour), I think it is a shame that a band like GT has to end with a performance on a corporate party.
Orjans Vall would have been a more suitable end for such a band. For fans, with fans...

I totally agree with Remco. I find it srange when such a big band like GYLLENE TIDER have to perform in front of 650 people for THEIR sponsors. Of course, it’s commercial things. But I don’t think it’s a great thing...

Anonymous: or is it anomymous... I wouldn’t have thought they would be paid, but good on them if they were... Money is good. Yup, yup, yup...he’s worked flippin’ hard for it.
