“Rockbjörn” award goes to Lambretta; not Roxette
Written by Lars-Erik_Olson on January 27, 2002 to Roxette.
STOCKHOLM - While Roxette was nominated in the Swedish Group-of-the-Year category, the golden “Rockbjörn” (Rock Bear) statuette was awarded to Lambretta, a group that has done very well on the dance/pop charts this past year, in ceremonies at the Cirkus theatre in Skansen.
Lisa Miskovsky was the big winner, with an award for both Swedish Female Artist-of-the-Year and Newcomer-of-the-Year.
Rockbjörn awards in the other Swedish categories went to:
Swedish Male Artist-of-the-Year:
Håkan Hellström
Swedish Album-of-the-Year:
“Tillbaks till ruta 1”:
Patrik Isaksson
Swedish Song-of-the-Year:
“Come along”:
Titiyo

The ones who give out those awards don’t know what they’re doing!! If they only listened to the words and moved to the beat, they’d see why Roxette should be #1!!!
