It appears as a result today Roxette are number 69 on the ITunes singles chart and 92 on the album chart in Australia. Amazing what a bit of promotion will do.

I liked what the blond girl said, (was it Charlie from Hi5?) - “Roxette rocks!” hehe I’m sure that woulda helped!

Yes it was Charli (the ex-Hi 5 babe) and now she is working on radio, she might do something.

If you’re in Australia and have pay TV, Max is playing a half hour program called “Best Of: Roxette” at 10pm (South Australian time) tonight. Enjoy :)

I like how on 20 to 1 they were trying to imply Marie wrote the song and she can hardly speak english. I bet you hardly anybody out of the fanbase would know the chief songwriter is Per and he speaks perfect english. I had a feeling IMOBL would be in there when I saw the ad. Maries vocals shined compared to most of the other songs in the top 20.

Yeah I agree with you imazombieinthem, most people who I talk about Roxette to, think that Marie is the only one in Roxette and that her name is Roxette because she comes from Sweden. I have to expalin to them that Roxette is the name of the Band and that there are two members Per and Marie.
Yeah it was funny how they throught that Marie wrote IMHBL as they showed a clip of her like 20 yrs ago, saying it’s hard to write in English. At least Rox’s Fans know the story and most important their finally getting some mention here in Australia but you watch nxt year when the new album is out, Roxette won’t get a mention at all.

I’ve always wondered how they come up with the rankings for this show. I expected IMHBL to have been higher, at least top ten considering it’s commercial success. But having said that, 13 is still pretty awesome.
Oh and I wish they’d get rid of the idiots commenting on the songs such as that moron who was trying to be funny and suggesting that it’s impossible to lay a whisper on a pillow as its not a physical object...it just made him look like the dingbat that he is - thinking that every thing in songs has to be real or literal.
At least Charlie loves that line and her and the others gave it a good review. Take note EMI its funny what a little promo can do.
