Per: BMI-listed songs not from “Room Service”
Written by roxeteer on February 16, 2001 to Misc.
The Daily Roxette has reported that previously unknown songs written by Per and Marie were found listed in BMI’s online database. One of the titles was “The Center Of The Heart (Is A Suburb To The Brain)” which as we know now will be the lead single from their forthcoming album, “Room Service.”
Per has now come forward to say that the other titles “are defintely Roxette’s however they are not the songs from the ’Room Service’ album” and that “it should not take too long before we can release them to you.”
It is unknown why the songs were registered with BMI before their release. For example, “Entering Your Heart”, the b-side track for “The Center Of The Heart” single, is not yet listed in BMI’s Hyper Repertoire service.

Did you ever compare “Neverending Love” with “Cherry Cherry Lady” from Modern Talking? Quite the same! Which one was first?

Boohoo, you are right. But I don´t think this is something we should talk about...at least I would never wanna compare ROxette to Modern Talking. That is almos criminal, such as calling MT´s songs “music”...

I, for one, don’t believe it. I’ll be VERY surprised if we don’t see any of these other songs appearing on “Room Service.” I’d bet money on it.

Wake up, Guys! We are not in a Bands competition. I personally think Savage Garden is great. Even though I LOVE Roxette since I was a kid, and if some other bands take some influence from ROXETTE, that makes me so proud of them and I want every one know that that new song has been inspirited from ROX

Alright! More songs! Looks like Per’s done a heap of them. That means plently of b-sides with unreleased songs. Probably be able to make another album with the b-sides :-)
