the song... i can’t decide, Sheena is so sweet that i am listening to it endlessly every night... but considering my gr8 experience with Boyfriend I think i like that one a bit more... :)

Anyway, wasn’t it GR8 surprise to hear this song (Sheena) as a ballad? Amazing change and so bunny-like! :)

yeah, leave me alone with sheena... ;o) btw, i was VERY surprised when i first heard it, i just couldn’t believe my ears since i never expected something like a ballad. and the best was: i got it from a girl from the german talk thread and the mp3 wasn’t called sheena, it was called the beatles blablabla. hearing the first seconds i really thought she fooled me around... ;o)

hm, i think swedish literature isn’t that popular. though henning mankell’s books are always high in the book charts (or whatever you may call it...) he’s fab. he’s the best. and i’ll never forgive him he wants to stop writing! ;o( so i changed to edwardson. i guess i’m the only one in my city to look for swedish authors since they always have to order it for me at the book stores. ;o)

just wanna say that Im a very very very happy grl today as I heard Per on the radio this morning!
Not just a song, but an actual phone interview!!!!!! :)
I was listening to Mix Megapol yesterday evening because the had the top 500 of best songs voted for by listeners and I knew that IMHBL was #1, so after the song they said that theyd try to call Per on the morningshow today!
So, there he was around 7:15 from Halmstad saying that he was sitting outside in the sun, that he usually works in the studio for 3 days a week nowadays, that IMHBL was written as a Xmas song (like we didnt know that already, but the DJs didnt appearently) and that he was really happy that so many voted for the song.
Okej, all in all not THAT interesting or new, but it was our bunny, live on the radio!!! Just great to hear him again!!!!

O and I also copied this interview with Per from Swed. mag. Cafe from 99 from a friend today, its great! Esp. the bunnie pix! :P anyone else who has it?!

Although you can almost sit outside 24 hours a day here, its warm and light the whole time anyway!!!

Aaaaaah I have to start working, have 2 take home exams now, the first one is fun about Astrid Lindgrens fairy tales, but how on earth am I gonna fill 8 pages about the problems and history of the Swedish welfare state before next tuesday???!!! ;(

@Sarah: I’ve a degree in sociology and social work. I’ve written loads of reports, essays and papers on the welfare subject. Maybe it can help you a little? Many of them are a little bit feministic, haha (just can’t help it), but there’s some neutral stuff as well. If you are interested tell me, cause then I´ll e-mail you some of my work. :)

Hej girls! i am having tough days... holidays are coming up but I am still so busy... There is a girl who has to redo an important test or else she won’t be allowed to go further. we work intensively every day, including weekends. the problem is she doesn’t even know the basics :((

So far, today has been great.

First Sweden advances in the football world cup. HEJA SVERIGE!!!

Then I took a stroll to the record-store. And guess what happened!?

The first thing I saw, when I entered the shop, was a big sign saying ”Alla Roxette-, Marie Fredriksson-och Gyllenetider LP (vinyl) 10 kr/st!”! 10 cowns!!!! :)

There were cases filled with rox-related records. Loads of them! I thought I’ve died and gone to haven (rox-haven)!! :)

Okay, I already have them all from before, but now I have a pile of “non-touched” ones as well. :) Though It´s usually a second-hand store, they were all new. They had obviously got their hands on a whole stock of vinyl records. :) I couldn’t just walk away from it, could I ?!

So I bought ”Joyride”, ”Look sharp”, ”Moderna tider”, ”Efter stormen”, ”Den sjunde vågen” and ”Tourism” (all vinyl). I paid 50 kr for the whole thing! Cause by buying more than five I got one for free. What a bargain!!! :)

Then I went to the store next door and bought the new M.F- box. :) That wasn’t a bargain though. But kind of nice to have anyway. :)

@chantie: actually, there are no trains going to rotterdam in November, i checked the schedules...there were only holiday offers, with many ( at least 3) train changes through Germany. I rather thought of going by coach, nice and direct, but kinda expensive!

@l-m-s: I LOVE blue shoes, and believe me i was SO close to buying a pair yesterday... but I need beige or sth to go with my wedding dress ( not my wedding though ;-))) )

i hope the weather will continue!!! Raisa, how can you hate summer? When I am free ( no school work and such) I just love warm and sunny weather, everyone does then! :) Although my VERY best season is end of Spring, I think :)

i just hate summer.

i miss snow, darkness, stars, cold weather, nice warm winter clothes etc.

and i’m so allergic and then i just sneeze the whole summer. yuck! and i get sunburnt very easily.

and then i have to work and work and work. i don’t have to go school, if i don’t wanna, but to work i have to go every morning. boooring!! (this is already my 5th summer at work...)

and people aren’t available when i need them and all summer vacations disturb everything.

we (all students) have 2½ months vacation in summer and only 1½ weeks on x-mas. i’ve heard that people in middle europe have loooong easter (our is like long weekend, fri-mon) and x-mas vacations. they’re in winter. it’s so wrong!!

i hate the f*king summer!!
(today it was raining and i was soooo happy. clients in ticket office didn’t understand that. HAHA! i work in a bus ticket office...)

real winter is 1m snow everywhere and -20 degrees (or in the best days -30). and on 22nd december it’s only 4 hours light here in oulu, in lapland the sun is down many days..
and today sun sets at 00:21 and rises at 02:18, so it’s not even dark. it was great to be in crete few weeks ago: i saw the stars and darkness.

i wouldn’t live without our four great seasons.

Hu, this time I’m the first to post something here for the day. Insomnia hasn’t reached me, but my parents are going on holiday for a week and I had to give them a lift to the next bigger town ’cause there is no train connection so early from where I live.

I was pretty busy the last week with working (definitifely too hot, 33-35 degrees!!!!) and at the weekend we had barbeque-evenings (to celebrate Midsommar) and a very hot weekend (33-35 degrees) again. I almost melted!!!!!!!!!!! Fortunately, it started raining and a thunderstorm is going down right now.

But for the next week I’m home alone!!!!!!!!! ;-)))

dreadlocks were nice and looked great.
BUT it’s not comfortable that it takes FIVE HOURS untill they’re dry after washing.

maybe i take some day new dreadlocks. but i want syntethic dreads then.. they’re not so messy and look better.

i just got bored with that hair. i “have to” change my hair every now and then. it’s just me.. :D

I started loving Per when I was only 7 in 1987. I loved him so much I would cry hours hehehe. My mom and aunt used to say he was not good looking and he might also be a very mean guy when it comes to women. I never believed in that. I used to write my diary notebook to him :(! I still have them all. I even sent him one of my calendars but I never got any response. Anyways, back then, when I was about 15, my aunt told me that I would grow out of it one day and that I will find the right man. Well, even now that I am 22, I still sit there with my mom sometimes and watch Roxette videos or when she brought me the latest DVD from England... I keep on saying: OH MY GOD! HE IS MINE! hehehe... and then my mom reminds me the fact that Per is married and too old for me :(! I still love him the same, even more. He is all I have from my childhood, the days I was growing up and the best years of my life. I really miss those days... Per will always be the best.
