DHT are absolutely awful, ruining the best Roxette song with their no-talent. I can’t believe they won this award, but perhaps the voters chose them simply because it’s a great song. regardless of how awful DHT are.
if i ever meet DHT i will slap them in the face for being so dreadful, but shake their hand for at least having good taste.

Guys, you are missing the point! This award is just for the category of best cover song, not whether the band is good or not.
Or can someone here think of a better cover song of the last 12 months? I think this is great news, as the people that bought this song obviously loved this version. And the dance version of this cover is complitely different to the originial.. Let’s give them some credit.

well, it might sound awful to you, but to me it’s a good news because that means that Roxette still has got attention in the US because of that song.

Why do you people hate it? I think it’s really great.
And just because you think Roxettes versions better, I do, you don’t have to hate it.

the voice sounds like plastic, processed to the limit (i´m talking bout pitch correction, I´m not saying she can´t sing... I think she has a nice voice, but the thing I heard on the recording sounds overprocessed).
And the cover, I think it´s really poor in terms of arrangements and technical stuff, such as no innovation on riffs or the guitar solo... also think the tempo is kind of down... it should be up some points, cause were talking bout dancing right? xD
Anyway, good to know another Per´s creation is messing the “big” music biz...
UP SOAP! greetz.

Pfff, Best cover?
There is no such thing as a “good” cover,
so a “best” cover is also non-existing.
The original, by Roxette,
yes, I can imagine if they give that the title “Best”.
DON’T COVER, BE ORIGINAL

I like this cover and the unplugged version of Listen To Your Heart by D.H.T. has something magical...
*just heard D.H.T. on the radio*

Roxette is one of the greatest pop bands in modern times. D.H.T. is nothing, nothing compared to them. To think that this cover could be #1 on the charts and in this poll says a lot about the current state of western pop music.

What rubbish.
That joke of a singer from DHT sounds like she has a tooth ache.
She cannot sing. PERIOD.
I think an Idol contestant could’ve done better. Nonetheless, it’s a sad reflection on the current state of affairs in pop music.
Certainly nothing to be proud of. Bring on the real music. Bring on Roxette...the original.
