Vicki and Marie!

I just resaw the Zürich and the Sydney concerts on my VCR, (from the 1991-92 Join The Joyride Tour) and I am very impressed with the performence of Per and Marie, as well as the band. There was just a few things that crossed my mind.
This other very pretty woman on stage -Vicki Benckert- she must have taken some of the attention from Marie, because of her looks, does anyone know how Vicki and Marie got along, and how Marie did cope with having another pretty woman on stage? In case they didn’t get along, because of the attention Vicki got, was that the reason Vicki wasn’t in the band during the C!B!B! Tour?
Who of the two do you guys find attractive the most? I must admit I find Vicki very sweet, but I do favour Marie!

Zurich 91... I have it on video.. I think it came from being taped off MTV or perhaps a German TV channel.....

I think that it was for the change in the band but somebody asked to Marie about Vicki, in 1995 during the C!B!B! tour and she answered: “Vicki is pregnant”.

I read in an interview with her that she didn’t get along very well with Rox all the time (well she didn’t use exactly those words, but that was the sence). Maybe such a long time travelling with all the same people can be damaging for even the best relations :).
Zurich 91 was often shown on many channels, during the 90-ies, like the Swiss 3Sat, the Swedish TV 1000, and maybe more (never seen it on MTV tho).
And Per had said some time ago that Vicki had become a mother.

She has a son. I´ve seen a pix on them when the baby was newborn.

I find Vicki very attractive, but of course I prefer Marie. But yes, I think some songs would sound even better with a female backvocalist on stage. I missed Vicki in CBB tour.

The Zurich show was also on ZDF (a German channel). Cool concert! I like it better than Sydney... It’s just great! Marie is wonderful and Per tries to keep up (well...except “Knockin’ on...” )But IMHBL and “Things will never be...” are sooo greaat! The best!
About Vicky: I like the way Per is watching her during “Perfect day”while she’s playing the accordion part...Very nice indeed.
When I first sow Helena I said: “Wow, the new Vicky!”... They seem to me very much the same (physically at least)...The same expression on their faces, nice smile, great presence, bloned, feminines and not very skinny...I like them both...I really think they have a lot of physical features in common...The whole presence is similar...And also the way they move...
I like Vicky very much in Rox Unplugged. What do you think?

Didn’t like her that much. Marie is doing great all by her self and with the brainpoolgitarist as backingvocal (forgot his name, again) it’s more than OK.
Any chance of sharing the ZDF-concert??

@Flower: Nope unfortunatelly. It is on such an old tape (I was a teenager in those times) and I used to watch it a few times per day and my video player from that period wasn’t very good. So, the band broke at a certain moment; I managed to solder it with...hm...how do you call it in English?...In French is “vernis à ongles” - that thing women put on their nails - stolen from my mom. And the band was good for more than 5 years. And then it broked again - not in the same place. So, I had to solder it again. And I can’t even try the “rewind” or “still” buttons of my player because my old Zurich show is too vulnerable...
I myself need a higher quality version of Zurich concert...

Yes it is quit sweet the way Per looks at Vicki in A Perfect Day. I also like the way Vicki and Marie are looking at each other in Knocking On Everydoor, they are sort of flirting, or checking the other out! That is just so cool!

Vicky left because of the canges in the band roxette wanted a nother sound with 2 drummers and guitars vicky and steffan both left
