yet again another topic about a woman in the music by me...
so, the first thing is a question, whose answer is, well very needed - is Anouk popular in Germany, or at least was she? is it possible to find her 2nd album (Urban Solitude) there?? (and, also, was she popular in the following countries : Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, France? )
then, I must say that she is very talanted. she really rocks for me, she has great voice (wish I had such!), makes great music , with some (quite) guitars in, has some great ballad-songs, and , well , she is just great. (I strongly bold,) for me. the 1st album (or at least 1st internationally) with the lead single Nobody’s wife (I think some of you know it) was quite successful here, it even got CD release (which is rare on these lands). it was played on MTV from time to time, also... I have the 2nd album pirated, but I’d really like to have it legal (that’s why was the 1st quiestion) , nad about the 3rd I don’t know so much, I’ve just heard the single Everything. rocky piece.

She’s HUGE! She has released a new album in november 2002 called “Graduated Fool” and it is received very well by the critics. Although she became a mother, she hasn’t lost her wild hair and is still rocking like there is no tomorrow. The album has a strong bite and lots of heavy groovy guitars on it.
In her early days I didn’t like her because I though she was just a rebel with a big mouth and an even bigger attitude, but she has absolutely prooven herself. Once you get to know her a little you’ll soon pay her respect for she’s just a brilliant artist who has had a less fortunate youth. All in all one of the best singers I know.
Albums are: Together Alone(1997), Urban Solitude(1999), Lost Tracks(2001) and Graduated Fool(2002)

Unfortunately I haven’t.. my cousin though was backstage in januari and she was totally impressed. The problem is that her concerts are almost instantly sold out, so I guess I have to wait until her next tour

mtv europe used 2 play her videos all the time from the previous albums.. why dont they support her anymore?? i havnt seen an of her new videos ;(
