a friend of mine told me, that he saw a tv-series, where some people of the x-files cast, which release a magazine called “TheLonelyGunman (or mEn?)” in the x-files, have got their own series with that name now. Is that right? Do you know what it’s about and is our TDR-LonelyGunman an x-files fan? I’m not; just curious... .

There was a short lived spin-off of The X-Files called “The Lone Gunmen”, which was a story based upon the trio from the X-Files: John Byers, Melvin Frohicke, and Richard “Ringo” Langly. Unfortunately, it lasted only One Season, however Skinner (Mitch Pileggi) and a couple of others from TXF DID do guest appearances on the show. I have most of the episodes on VHS tape. I know that some of them wound up cut in half because tape ran out or the reception sucked.
Anything else? :o)

I’ve only seen the pilot episode. :( A friend in the US sent it to me.
It’s being repeated on UK Sci-Fi channel at the moment(Minus the pilot episode of course), but my parents won’t let me tape it. GRRR! :(

Me too. I’ve only seen the pilot episode. I went to this Sci-fi convention thing and that’s when they showed it. Months later they aired it on TV but I didn’t watch it.

A second movie is in the works. Don’t know any details beyond the fact that Mulder and Scully are still together as a team. Don’t know who all has signed aboard and what the plot is, but most of the old gang seems to be there (no confirmation as to whether or not Frohicke, Byers, and Langley will be “resurrected” for the movie or not)
