For those who like Eva Dahlgren, this is just to let you know that she has formed a band, Buddaboys, together with Mija and Greta Folkesson (two sisters who till now have been singing backing vocals in albums and tours for different Swedish artists, like Titiyo, Joey Tempest, Eric Gadd..).
Their first single “Do me” is out on 10th March and their album “Lost peoples area” on 7th April. The album is in English and the 3 of them make turns to sing.
Together with the album release they will go on a “Club tour” starting 10th April in Stockholm.
You can find a bit more info at their official site www.buddaboys.com (even though it is in Swedish).

yeah Do me :DD
The song text is ...
It could be in the street
It could be in a bar
It could be in whatever car
It could be on a beach
It could be in the hall
It could be on the kitchen floor
It could be fast or slow
It could be beyond or below
It could be under trees
It could be in space
It could be in velvet lace
In black leather and boots
In a Gucci suit
It could be soft it could be hard
Secrets in the dark
It could be on a Sunday walk in the park
When I go
Do me the way you do me the way you do me the way you do me
The way you do
It could be when I’m angry
It could be when I’m hungry
It could be through the saddest tears
I could be sleeping
Wake up and believing that I’m a
Reborn Marquis de Sade
Or it could be because of love
But that’s not the only thing I’m thinking
Whatever faith you have
Whatever color of skin
Whatever sex you prefer
Whatever message you bring
You have to
Accept love

sure ;) Music is about getting reactions from the listeners, poetry is about getting reactions from the readers, so I guess they got to their target ;))

I just read today their music is so much different than Eva is usually making.

for what I have heard so far, a bit :)
They performed today in Bettina S, a Finnish TV program, so if anyone saw it, you can see what kind of sound that is. I heard they sound so fresh and that they have great fun on stage :)

Efva Attling looks so Frida of Abba! I just saw very recent pic of her taken this week.

Judith @ you have nothing to comment on my previous post? :)) Agree/disagree?

SK: oh I had missed your question!
Uh dunno, I think both Efva and Frida look very Swedish, so could be, even I never thought about that. :P
I have seen many girls for example who look THE SAME as Nina Persson from the Cardigans - there’s this one girl in the German course I attend, she just needs to have dark hair and “voila”, Nina’s double :D
_____
Now it seems that BB plan even to release their album and tour outside Scandinavia, quoting Eva “We have been up and down Sweden many times and have eaten in any kind of restaurant here, so it would be cool to see what kind of food they have in Germany.”
Not sure if they will finally “venture” on this though.
It would feel weirdo to see Eva live in Germany or even Austria!
