Close2U said on March 21, 2003 16:00:
True, true...
So, do you like the lay-out. I know it’s kind of orange..but as you might know, it’s the dutch national colour.
What are you doing right..........NOW! (that’s 17.00 central european time...=)??
I’m at work, but not working very hard as the sun is shining. And that isn’t actually a daily thing here in Holland.
Majdy said on March 21, 2003 16:14:
I like Orange. it reminds me of my favourite fruit :). great lay out.
Anyway, it’s 00.25 am here and I AM still at work. I’m a journalist in the news paper. well, I guess I don’t have to ask what do u do. because I know that you are architec, or maybe you have other job?
by the way, what a nice house you made for me. Oh, I wish I could bring gunea pigs too, but somebody’s here are eating them !!!
Close2U said on March 21, 2003 16:25:
00.25 and still working??!! oh my god. RESPECT!
Besides being architect I fill my days as a chemical engineer...well that sounds like fun (NOT). I like it though.
Well bring along those damn guinea pigs, we will eat them together! (this sounds really strange......).
Majdy said on March 21, 2003 16:36:

Aaso said on March 23, 2003 17:58:

Close2U said on March 24, 2003 18:28:
Majdy...I really would like to explain what I do ...but that would be very, very boring I guess...and you said this forum was about having fun!
Eh...but I think its getting crowded over here. Do you think I have to expand this forum?? It was not meant to be for so many people!!
Cheerz everyone!

Majdy said on March 25, 2003 14:42:
@Close2U : well, the real reason why they are so many people here, is because you have done great job with this “place” :) you’re my architec, don’t you? :) I guess people are very comfortable here:)
you don’t need to expand this, because it’s automatically expand :)
so, how are you, Close2u? haven’t heard you for days...
Close2U said on March 26, 2003 11:55:
Majdy, I’m doing fine actually! I have a lot of work to do...that’s why I haven’t post any nonsense lately ;-p
And of course I’m cleaning your palace! Especially important now with all the other guests...
Majdy, you mentioned you did not like football at all, but prefer sleeping! Well, I like sleeping to...but are you into other sports...maybe??
Cheerz.
Majdy said on March 26, 2003 13:00:
well, the only sport that I ever liked is Formula 1 (is that sport? ) But since I don’t see that on TV anymore, I’m kinda lost with all information about it.
I was joking about that football thing :D, I don’t hate it but I am not a fan of it, but I did watch it especially during world cup. you know for... umm... bet? lol :) no, no I was kidding again. Well, I liked to see football with many people. Usually they have the same favourite thing. so I’ll be opposite, and that will be fun :) not the game, but the expression they made when their fav team was lost :), I’ll like to laugh at them, it was fun :)
sleeping rules :D
PS : say hi to your mom :)

Close2U said on March 26, 2003 15:07:
aha, so you are only making fun of somebody elses sorrow! Little Miss Majdy...
I never watch formula 1 racing. I never watch any sports where the main purpose is to drive, run, cycle or swim as fast as possible. Also sports where you are supposed to throw, lift or jump as high/far as possible I find very boring.....
So...the only sports I like to watch all include a ball...and two teams competing!
I would like to say hello to my mum in your language (malesian?)...but how to do that?
Gimme some lessons!
Close2U said on March 26, 2003 15:10:
Zeeshan! You scared the hell out of me...
Welcome in Majdy’s place. Please don’t make a mess...I have to clean it!
Majdy said on March 26, 2003 15:30:
hey, u don’t have to clean it. you’re not my cleaning service, you are my architec :)
anyway, it just fun to see people lose their money when they bet for foot ball :) They kept yelling and swearing all the time! but sometimes it’s fun too, if somebody won the bet, because.... hey, that means free food and beers :)
ummm, let me think about what you’re gonna say to your mother...
okay. say this : kapan kita pergi ke Indonesia? saya ingin bertemu dengan teman saya.
tell me, what your mom think about it :)
Close2U said on March 27, 2003 11:47:
Majdy, sounds great (is it?). Event though I really have no idea how to pronounce it.
So...I really like indonesian food...it is the best! Well, especially when my mother or grandmother makes it.
Don’t tell me you like macdonalds better..........?
O shit...I bet there’s a big differnce between the indo-food i’m getting and you are getting...
I have to stop writing, cos it doesn’t make any sense...does it??!
*Let’s see, let’s build another window over here....*
Majdy said on March 27, 2003 13:50:
well, if you can’t pronounce ut then write it! :)
you like Indonesian food? like what? maybe I like that too :D
hey, I’m glad to hear that your mom still remember how to cook Indonesian food although she didn’t live here anymore. I mean, compare to me, I can’t cook ANY of our food. I like some Indonesian food too, but I like Mc Donald too :)
you live in Holland, right? do u know that Minahasa (the place I live) was holland’s favourite when they were srill rule our country? no wonder, most of the “old” peope here could speak dutch, so does my grandmother, though just a little bit because she didn’t finish her school.
anyway, I think build another window is a good idea :)
tell your grand mother, i said hi :)
Close2U said on March 27, 2003 14:42:
What I really like...hang on:
- Of couse Rice...(like nasi goreng.)
- Noodles...noodle soup (I’ve been eating those for ages!!).
- Lumpur, baopao (o my god, I am really uncomfortable writing these words, cos I’m affraid you don’t have any idea what I’m talking about!).
- Bubur item.
- Pisang Goreng (that banana thing, can eat tons of it!).
- All kinds of meat that are prepared with ketjap, garlic, onions and chili!
This sucks, doesn’t it?
(I’ll write it down and shwo it both my mother and grandmother...).
Can you speak any Dutch words ??
Majdy said on March 27, 2003 14:57:
hey... hey don’t feel uncomfortable, because the I understabd what you mean :) some are ny favourite too :)
I like “nasi goreng” too. maybe my biggest favourite :)
I ate noodle soup for years too :)
I don’t know what you mean with lumpur (although it’s mean muud in english :) lol! but probaly what you mean is Lemper, am I right? I like bakpao too. I never taste that “bubur item” but ever heard that.
You know, if we ever meet in Indonesia, we can go to find places that sell Pisang Goreng. hey do you know, sambal terasi? it’s fit with Pisang Goreng. I could eat so many pisang goreng if I have sambal terasi too. But I guess you won’t like it. It will taste weird for you (maybe)
anyway, seemed that you have “indonesian stomach” :) how about your self. do you look like Indonesian too?
I don’t know any dutch word, but my grandmother does. hey, show that note to your mom and grand mother and let me know, okay? :)
Close2U said on March 28, 2003 07:02:
YES! Lemper and bakpao...that’s right!
How to explain bubur item...mashed black rice. With coconut milk in it to make it sweet. (nevermind...).
Sambal terasi with pisang goreng??? That sounds strange! But yet...who knows. I will try...
At home I have a very big jar with sambal badjak...Yummie! That goed with everything...and maybe with pisang goreng too =)
What do you mean by “do you like indonesian to”?
Majdy....i’m getting hungry over here!
Close2U said on March 28, 2003 13:38:
No info? Hmmm...that makes me mystery-man!
I like that....
Cheerz!
Close2U said on March 28, 2003 13:40:
@Aaso.
That sounded like half german and half english.
“germlisch” =).
btw: Dutch (Netherlands, Holland) is not the same as Deutsch (german, Germany).
Majdy said on March 28, 2003 14:01:
what I mean is, how do you look like? I mean you said that your mother is Indonesian, so your father is from Holland, right? I wonder about how you look like. do you look like western or asian? or maybe the mix of them? (sorry my english is bad )
Hey you should try that “sambal terasi”. You can eat that with “nasi goreng” too. In fact, I have just eaten it :)
Majdy said on March 28, 2003 14:44:
mistey-man? oh, no. I thought that you are an architec? ummm... you’re not a spy or special agent, do you?
Close2U said on March 28, 2003 16:53:
Aaah...how I look like. Well its a “mixture” yes. some time ago friends of mine were on vacation on Bali, and when they returned they said “we have seen you a billion times!!”. But it was even today (!) that somebody asked me if i probably have indonesian blood...
So its a mixture...
And don’t worry, i’ll still be your achitect and your English is okay!
My skin is probably lighter then yours...;-)
Majdy said on March 29, 2003 04:35:
hey, do you know that many models here are “mixture”? have you ever think about having carrier in that field instead of being arcititec? :) I coud be your manager, you know? :D
Hey, since we were talking about foods, how about gado-gado. have u ever taste that?
Close2U said on March 29, 2003 11:17:
Hahahhaha...If I could become a model, everyone could!
Gado Gado? Of course! What’s it like in indonesia? Here its like all sorts of vegetables mixed with spicy “peanut sauce”. Am I right?
Today I’m gonna make some very spicy chicken! It’s almost my favourite. some chicken, sambal oelek, ketjap manis, garlic, oniuns.....YUMMIE!
Can you name a desert wich you like?? I might just look for it in my cooking book and try it someday...
Cheerz!
Majdy said on March 30, 2003 05:48:
well, as u know Indonesia ia a very huge country with different culture and foods too. I live in Manado (Minahasa) and of course we have our own traditional food too. But actually there is ONE food that has been known for many Indonesian too. It’s called Bubur Manado (ask your mom, probably she heard about it too). If you like, I will try to wrote the things that u need to make it and how to make it too. it contains lots of vegetables too and it’s so delicios to eat that with sambal terasi :)
hey, what your friend think about Sambal Terasi? I bet they don’t want to get close to you after you eat it, because the smell :)
