The Look for Roxette incomplete?
Susi said on January 7, 2003 18:38:
Well, at least Robert already knows about the “Stars”-Maxi-CD. I have that one too and my boyfriend told him about it. :)
japeke said on January 7, 2003 10:27:
Yep, I’ve got that version also,. it is the regular dutch release.....
Maybe someone can mail the writer so that they can correct it before the second presssing (whenever that may be)
m-cvk said on January 7, 2003 10:31:
My boyfriend has also got some items that aren’t in the book. It would be a good idea to send an e-mail to Robert with those kind of items so he can use the information for the next edition of the book.

Just asked my bf (through e-mail) about the Rox-items. He may react himself, otherwise I’ll help him :-)

The part with the indications for computer users is in blank

Hi All,
I was notified (Hi MC) of this topic, so I’ll give you my items, which I couldn’t find in the book.
First a question. Sometimes a CD is MADE IN ... (e.g. HOLLAND) and printed somewhere else (e.g. ITALY). Both call numbers are the same, so under what country are they listed in the book. Sometimes I found out, because, there was only one of the 2 countries listed, but I think that it’s the country where it’s printed. Don’t know for sure. I have for instance the CBB CD, which is Made in HOLLAND, and Printed in Italy. Also a Tourism CD, which is Made in AUSTRIA and Printed in HOLLAND. Anyone with an answer?
Further I have also the stated CD-single from Stars. But also a 7” single from SIMC from France. This one isn’t also stated.
I also have a black and white CD of CBB, with a call number from HOLLAND, but “Made in” or “Printed in” is nowhere stated. I think, because it’s black and white, and no other colours, it’s perhaps a test-pressing?? Anyone with an answer?
Also I have a Cassette of Tourism, with the call number of HOLLAND, but nowhere stated, it’s from HOLLAND, I have a different version, where this is stated, so I don’t know. It’s also a call number which is used by more than one country.
Another question. From 1999, everything made in Europe, isn’t stated by it’s country, but Made in EU. How can we know from which country it’s from (don’t tell me, in what country you bought it, because that isn’t water-proof). Can anyone say which code stands for which country, e.g. BEL BIEM; N©B. Anyone with info??
These were my items, which I haven’t found yet in the book. But most of my items, I found!!!
Grtz

NONE of the Russian releases even mentioned... :(
There’s a lot. Even Zimbabwe mentioned but not the biggest country in the world, duh..

marc I think that b/w CBB is a promo, the ones they give to the radio stations. I don’t have it but I am sure I have seen it somewhere at a radio station long time ago :P
fortuna1895 said on January 8, 2003 10:50:
Judith, you’re right! I have the black&white version too and it’s the continental-europe-Promo-CD-single.
japeke said on January 8, 2003 12:19:
@Mdekort: Hey Marc!!!! As i read, your collectiomn is still groing! :-)
About where you can read the ountry on the new cd: On the backside of The CD, are almost in the center some small letters, on most cd’s is stated: UDEN, NL so you know the country!

By the way does the email notification when someone replies to discussions on TDR work for anyone else? Or am I the only one where it doesn´t work?
mdekort said on January 8, 2003 20:08:
Hi
Thanx for the info. But it isn’t a CBB single, it’s the CBB album. I also thought it was a PROMO, cause I also have a Fireworks PROMO, which is also B/W.
Thanx Jaap, but i already checked the backside, there’s only a number written there, I’ll check it again, but I didn’t think there was a country or city “written”. I’ll check it and get back to it later.
And yes, my collection is still growing, but I haven’t got half the book already, so there’s still a lot to collect!!!!

Marc
PS I also have a 7” single, but without a label. It’s in a white sleeve (so no info there). Is this a Jukebox single? The info about the tracks is “etsed” (don’t know the exact english word) into the centre of the single. It’s the CBB single. I thought it was from the UK, so perhaps someone has an answer?
ditroia said on January 9, 2003 02:19:
Yes I have some items which are pressedin one country but printed in another or perhaps the items was madei n one country but relesed in another eg. Never Ending Love/I Call your Name Spanish promos Made in Holland.
It can be tricky determining the exact oringins of an item.

Hi all again,
@alchemiste
Thnx for the info about the jukebox single, just missed it in the book!
Just looked at the single, but it’s not the UK single. It’s the German 7”, is this one also without a lable and “etsed” surface??
@ Judith
I already thought you were, but fortuna1895 was talking about the single I thought.
OK, I checked the CBB (PROMO??) On the centre ring on the backside, is “written”: 828727-2 * SM 4702
Also on the front side of the centre ring, there is a mark placed there, “SM S2”. don’t know if this could help anyone?
@ japeke
I checked the EU CD’s, and OK, all Dutch.

Kiwein1 said on January 10, 2003 12:56:
Well, you can find Så nära nu on page 75!
But I don’t have a clue either about the other things missing! )-:

For Unlimited Beat –> p. 575.
I´d suggest you read through the book *before* you complain... ;-)

there are a fault at room service tour... the south africa show is listed.... but they were cancelled....
japeke said on January 23, 2003 16:52:
Unlimited beat: Is NOT performed by roxette, it are just covers.
Mtv music history: Bootleg.
thats why those are not in the book.
mdekort said on January 24, 2003 20:08:
@ Daniel-alv
I think this is stated in the book, that the shows who were planned, but didn’t go on (for what ever reason) are also stated. At the room service tour is also stated why the South African shows were cancelled.

Hey everyone,
I was just wondering: I have got a maxi cd of ’Stars’ that is not mentioned in the book, I believe. I bought it in Holland, so I guess it must not be very rare or special.
This is what’s on it:
1. Stars (Almighty Single version)
2, Better off on her own
3. I was so lucky (demo)
4. 7Twenty7 (demo)
As you can see, there’s no video of ’Anyone’, and no album version of ’Stars’ on this one.
Now, I hope I saw things right... does anybody else have this version?
