Anyone know of any rich people who would be willing to start up a small independent record company that WE the fans of Roxette could run, market roxette, promote them and help them achieve the recognition the deserve? in the UK and abroad.
Wouldn’t that be great - I would leave my job to do it.
How about a HQ in Brook Green, next to EMI UK (just to rub their noses in it) and have offices across the world - say in all of ours’ bedrooms - we could all help!

By the way: Did you know that marillion let there fans preorder a not-yet-existing album in order to have the money to produce it far away from the demands of a record company? I think that‘s a very cool way to show trust in the artist‘s work and maybe someday we could ( but hopefully aren‘t forced to by circumstances of Roxette‘s record deals ) pick up this concept...

anyways.........i was thinking (not a good idea) of making some fairly cheap (free infact : coz i werk in a print room).....prolly just black and white A4 size posters and sticking them on lamposts (bill posting : probably illeagal) in my area.....and then i had another thought of just making lots of little leaflets and leaving them in fone boxes and stuff.....all promoting the new album ;)and then i thought.....well it might get roxette arrested.......so then .....I could just put c/o EMI UK on the bottom of them and they’d get the blame....etc etc.....am i going on?
anyway....that was just an idea.

When I go to a record shop where there is a lot of people I always stand in front of the Rox section and I say to my friend in a loud voice.... “you know I have bought a Roxette CD recently, it’s amazing... I mean you don’t really know them until your hear them properly, people don’t know what they’re missing...” and sometimes it works....

I need to get together a board of directors, first ones to reply get the jobs:
Finance Director, marketing director, operations director and director of tea-making.
Other jobs to follow.
Naturally, my job will be Director of Hygenic Services (aka cleaner)...

Congratulations to RoxetteRecords WorldWide Poland! This is our first Pan-European division to be set up. And conrats to our Greek division too!! Our second pan-european office!! woo hoo!
oooo pass me a piece of paper I need to keep a record of where we have offices - at least the I will be one step ahead of EMI - they seem to forget where they have offices and where they need to start promotions!
