What really annoys me are the karaoke-subtitles all along the video. They look cheap, somehow, I think it would be better without them.

how funny is it that the part of the video where you can’t hear the song is the portion where helena is most prominent? Call me retardedly nostalgic but
wouldn’t silly really have been huge if it were on the hits package instead of one wish? The video is like amix between early rox videos circa pop/ls and newer ones like op nox. I’m still on the ledge in terms of buying the album, but after afdonblat make so many rox comparisons I’m very tempted. The only thing thats really going to suck is every time helena opens her mouth I’m gonna seriously miss marie.
so say we all

Can someone explain the video. whats up with the rabit?

Most bad video I ever seen from Per in my opinion. Even “Do you wanna be my baby” was better.
Best video: Smastad;
Cheers

Interesting, kinda outstanding video. Well done, very fresh.
And no, I don’t miss Marie when Helena opens her mouth.... I love Helena.
It’s not Roxette. It’s Per (and Helena), so get over with it.

Don´t like it. First of all, i would cut the audience out of the video. Don´t get the point of that part. All the people look just stupid and it destroys the flair oh the song. The electronic-part with Per is much better and fits the song really good. Second and really bad: The break in the video destroys the whole rythm of the song. Really silly. The video is not that bad at all, but this two things don´t fit really good.

I misss good lyrics , i miss powerful female voice , and i miss even meaningless SOAP videos after watching this.

Is there a way to watch it without a thirty minutes pause every five seconds? I tried, I tried and I tried and it really made me mad. I’ll wait until it appears on youtube best.

Crazy, really! I actually like the break in the middle a lot, or more precisely, when it sounds like the song is being sucked back out of a black hole or something (-:

@ gessle-addict: try this http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=4FD8r2PnSO0
I like the video, really fits the song. And this break is great. Perfect idea.

@konstpaus...I don’t wann destroy any dreams...but I guess it’s all about makeup and lightening but I agree he looks really good. Especially when you see this karaoke guy....

Great video! I don’t see the match with Donnie Darko though... was the director who said the rabbit was inspired by the movie or is it a personal appreciation from you, Thomas?
This bunny is quite more cheerful than Frank the rabbit (though still disturbing)!
Greetings!

did anyone notice all the women at the karaoke club are crossdressers?
so say we all

Sorry, don’t like that video at all... As always, could do so much more with that catchy song, but miss the point... I think it shows more and more that Per doesn’t like to do videoclips...
Zargo said on November 16, 2008 08:13:
I’m not generally a negatigve type (really!), but this video is not good. Per and the electronica is okay, but the rest is just pointless and disapointing... don’t even get Helena in it looking pretty :(
(and looking very pregnant too presumably, had she been in it)
tevensso (moderator) said on November 16, 2008 09:12:
I think it’s the best video in years. I really like it.
I did see they were cross dressers, what I haven’t seen yet is if they are all the time, or just after the weird bathroom thing.

Anybody got a better link where I can download Per’s new video???? Pretty please??
Per does look cool and fresh.... I miss Marie

What exactly you don’t understand? Video is about how one ’magical bunny/Per/singer of karaoke song - choose one option’ helped/gave some magical strenght to one outsider in (probably) firm party. Everything around is just sauce.

There’s nothing to explain, because there’s nothing to understand either. It’s a musical video, not a documentary by the National Geographic. Music videos have to be eye-catching, and this vid does the trick. Just watch some assorted videos in Youtube and you’ll find out most of them don’t have a meaning at all.
Emil__BG said on November 16, 2008 19:17:
Nothing in this video is “eye-catching”
And Roxette videos had meaning or at least something in common with the lyrics.
That’s one of the reason to became Roxette fan.

I Just Love This Video !!!! THANXXXXX PER - It’s great and Silly Really :-)
I really like this video - Per looks so good, its funny and the song is brilliant !!!

“And Roxette videos had meaning or at least something in common with the lyrics”.
Yes, sure. If you want to believe in that, good for you. What’s the meaning in Salvation or You Don’t Understand Me? And what’s the hidden message in the Real Sugar puppets? Come on...
Roxlander said on November 18, 2008 15:38:
I expected a better video for that great song. I didn’t like it, specially the karaoke singer. I think is really silly that they lost the chance to do something better :-p
rimugu said on November 19, 2008 21:45:
Didn’t like the video, right next with June afternoon disappointment.
But that does not matter for me. I kind of worry about it hurting the promotion of the song, but that is not really for me to worry.
I like the song and it is now in my cellphone, so I don’t starve until I can get my hands on the CD!

Really silly video!
Per going surfing and playing the role of a big-big rabbit, hmm!
Really surrealistic to my mind!
