Summer tour?

STOCKHOLM -
According to Swedish newspaper Expressen Per Gessle is planning another Swedish summer tour. Their source claims that Per will play Örjans vall in Halmstad at the end of June, beginning of July. The tour will consist of Gyllene Tider and solo material, with musicians like Clarence Öfwerman, MP Persson and Anders Herrlin. Expressen's columnist Anders Nunstedt wonders what lies behind this, but hopes that a new album is in the works.
Per Gessle and Marie Dimberg have not been reached for a comment, but The Daily Roxette considers the rumor very likely to be true.

Good if true. When taking place during my vacation, even better.

That’s the news I was waiting for! ... Now I wonder if SOAP II stays actual as well...
Where is Per to confirm and give some details???? Sportlov maybe?

Nice, maybe we get a 75-song setlist... all the SOAP I & II tracks...
But seriously: would be nice!

I’m likely to be in Sweden this summer... but not in June or July... what a shame!!! :(
Anyway, a new Gessle album is always good news :D

If there is a tour.. there’s most likely a concert or 2 in the beginning of august aswell if that’ll suite you better? Atleast there hasn’t been any summer tour in Sweden that I know of that hasn’t had any concerts in August aswell so that’s why I’m quite sure it’ll be like that this time aswell..
Now... Let’s just pray that this “rumor” actually is true!!! I so want it to be!!!!

This means they still have no direct plans for Roxette..... Anyway, id like to have another Mazarin ( or even better: another TWATG), but please no more SOAP. Gessle tours are great! Hope he plays at least some Roxette tunes ( but he probably wont).

That’s almost half Roxette!! Of course the other half missing is much too important :)
Very likely to miss this tour as sweden is not on my short-term schedule so hope all of you able to be there enjoy it and have some awesome shows!!

“sweden is not in my short term schedule”...
A Gessle tour certainly don’t fit my economy either right now.. and I propably will have to work the whole summer unless a miracle happens.. but I WILL BE AT AS MANY SHOWS I CAN, ANYWAY!!!! You never know when it will be the last chance. And I will not miss that chance for anything in the world.

“The Daily Roxette considers the rumor very likely to be true.”
I’d prefer statements like that to be a little more solid.. something along the lines of “Per has hinted to us” etc. Otherwise it’s completely pointless, and doesn’t add anything to the original article.
I’m so boring :-)

The best news for a long time! Gessle tour to the people! A Mazarin 2 would be wonderful...

Ooo...I wish for a new album. And a stop in Finland (if this is true).
Hopefully there’ll be _something_ more than just Gyllene hits or some solo highlights!

As far as I can see, Gessle or/and Dimberg are delaying a precise answer...

Haha, it’s Per-i’d be very surprised it this wasn’t true! The man can’t sit still! :D

If this tour does happen and in the unlikely event that tickets only go on sale in Sweden....is anyone prepared to buy tickets and send them to the UK?

So, how about a comment from the “real” sources? Did Expressen write a lot of **** again? Is Per hiding in Skane? ;)

Marie Fredriksson Online reports that Marie will perform live on stage in Café Opera, Stockholm in an event called “Still rocking in the free world.”
The event is organized by Lasse Lindbom 70-238 who is remembered as the producer of Marie’s early solo albums. According to the event information in Facebook, the event, taking place on March 12, is dedicated especially to the people “who used Café Opera as their living room in the 80s.” The tickets (450 SEK) are only 70-290 latest dumps available via Swedish bank giro, so it may be difficult to obtain tickets abroad.
Other artists in the event will be Mats Ronander, Anne-Lie Rydé, Niklas 70-291 latest dumps Strömstedt and Lasse Lindbom. They are performing together with the musicians Pelle Alsing, Mats “Gaffa” Karlsson, Patrik Lundström, Hasse Olsson and Mikael Bolyos.
Lasse Lindbom told 70-297 Marie Fredriksson Online that Marie will perform 4-5 songs, one of them being “Jealous guy” by John Lennon.
