Bulgarian Release of 20GS cd

CD-“A Collection Of Roxette Hits! - Their 20 Greatest Songs!” was released in Bulgaria.
Licensed CD.
Booklet is on bulgarian. Lets says is a first cyrillic version :-)
Quite shocking :-) Maybe we ask to much for it by phone the EMI representatives ;-)
But on the other hand even the music stores put this CD on the front panel :-)

I don’t know for other countries but first bulgarian CD was The ballad hits :-)

Well, althought I‘m bulgarian I haven‘t bought the BG version and probably won‘t cause as much as I don‘t like to admit this (it hurts me to make a bad name of my country) but the BG version of The Ballad Hits I bought suck a big time! The translation was terrible (not that it would matter for you :o) and the pictures including the sleeve were shifted to the one side and some of them were missing. Now the new album seems fine on the outside but I can‘t be sure how is it on the inside. By the way Bulgaria is very roxette-friendly though, I can see a BG release every once and a while, the last being The Ballad & Pop Hits Videos.

well you are right! In bulgarian Roxette is spelled POKCET, but they used to write Roxette, Per Gessle, Marie Fredriksson and every name in original in The Ballad Hits sleeve.

the first and only good thing from new desigh –we can write on cyrillic–and it’s gooood cos it’s already official in EU becouse of us :-))

Thanks Emil! I wasn’t expecting the whole booklet, that was very nice! I didn’t see the Pokcet writing on the sleeve though, it’s the standard latin one althought the whole insert is in Bulgarian.
