Ole Ole Ole, Liverpool has beaten AC Milan!
Even though there are 2 dutchman in AC’s team and 0 in Liverpool, I wanted liverpool to win.
AC didn’t deserve to be in the final, PSV should have been there instead.

And what do you think about Liverpool goalkeeper Pole Jerzy Dudek? I think he did his job great!
Santi said on May 27, 2005 11:24:
About Jerzy Dudek I thought he was Czech :D
I think he had his moments, in the penalties he was superb (thanks also to the Basque goalkeeper coach Manuel Otxotorena, who seemed to be telling him how each Milan player shoots the penalties :)).
At the end of the game he was very lucky in front of Sheva :D. That save was pure “bad” luck for Andriy, in my opinion.
Then, he got so well guarded on the posts by the defendors, they saved him two very clear goals. I remember it was either Sheva or Tomasson that almost scored if it wasn’t for Traore (I think) that saved it in the very same goalline, and Luis García saved with the chest (or face, I didn’t see it well) another clear goal-to-be on a corner.
I think he was not well in the first goal by Maldini, he could have done a bit more. On the second goal of Crespo he coulddo nothing.
But we all know, when a game reaches the penalties, some goalkeeper is gonna be the hero of the day, so :D
On the other hand, a player that I can’t actually figure out what he’s doing is Milan Baros. In all the games of Liverpool I’ve seen this season he just fights with the defendors but gets nothing done :/ I think Morientes is so much better, he fights too, but apart from that he can score, he’s actually very good with the header and is a quite lucky guy for scoring in any other situation.
What a pity he could not play and that he did not receive the medal because he was registered for Real Madrid. I hope he’s wise enough as to never come back to Madrid.
Vixzter said on May 27, 2005 11:59:
Morientes has actualy signed for Liverpool so he won’t be going back to Madrid, i think they paid £6million for him, its just he was cup tied coz he played for Real in the group stages.
Liverpool on the other hand didn’t play Micheal Owen in the qualifying stages knowing full well that he was going to be sold to Real ;)
Milan Baros is a complete mystery, brillaint at Euro 2004 but mostly crap for Liverpool ;)

Dudek is the POLISH national keeper. The two saves that he made from Shevchenko in the last minute of extra time are unbeliveable, at least he has been honest enough to say that he didn’t know anything about the 2nd save, it just hit him. his penalty saves were excellent and spooking the kickers out by going and handing them the ball and staring them square in the eyes. Then to do what Grobelar did in the 84 final against Roma with all the movement on the line, good olde Carargher for telling him to do it.
Wonder how many ’fans’will come out of the woodwork?
