Long gone before Daylight

I have bought the Cardigans new Album, ’long gone before daylight’ yesterday. I know this Album was released a few years ago and no one really took notice of it, as soon as I put it into my CD player and pushed ’play’, my mind was totally blown away!!! The music, the lyrics, oh my god!! Is this the greatest band ever to come out of Sweden? (just teasing you guys!) lol
Well, I have to say, so may times I almost lost my Roxette Commitment because of the Cardigans..
Listen to their latest Album if you get a chance! It is AMAZING!

That is definately one the albums highlights, but I still couldn’t make up my mind, which song is actually my favorite. There are so many to choose from. Lyric wise I think I like ’Communication’ the best, or ’Then you kissed me’.
This album is not as comercial as ’Gran Tourismo’, but you can hear, their skill for music and songwriting has improved a lot!

They’ve just started work on their next album. From what Magnus (bass player) is saying on the site - it’s gonna be a pretty good album. One song is “the fastest we’ve made since Rise And Shine in 1994”. Just read what he says on the front page of the website. It’s cool. :)

I love, love, love this album... I alternated back and forth between it and “Mazarin” in 2003 and listened to almost nothing else. I’d hardly say it went unnoticed... Per said it should have been named “Album of the Year” over “Mazarin” that year (I wouldn’t go that far...) (-:
Cerchio, thanks for the update! Can’t wait to hear the new stuff, didn’t give a rat’s ass about the Cardigans before “LGBD” but now I’m hooked.

It did go unnoticed anywhere else outside of Sweden though.. :-(
I just can not get enough of it!!!!
I have been a cardigans Fan since 1993. There have even been a few years that I have listened to more of their Stuff than Roxettes!!
