I just downloaded a tonne of stuff from there. I got really excited for a while, and when I went to play all the songs in Windows Media Player, I was greeted with nothing but silent “hissing”.

Just so you don’t waste your time:
The “demo” versions of the following songs are fakes:
- Waiting For The Rain
- Wish I Could Fly
- pretty much all of the CBB stuff, and most of the HAND stuff.

Well... to put it simply, I downloaded like 15 demos, and only “Stay” and “Anyone” are actual songs...

I was really looking forward to hearing some of those!

RoxHard, try to play the files in Winamp or other programs than WMP; maybe it will be better then. I can play all of them perfectly with Winamp. I dunno though why the files are in WMA; they used to be in MP3 quite a long time ago; maybe because of the webspace they use for other stuff?
But yeah, the rarities section is awesome. I check it regularly.

Mary: Demos are in wma because of space and also copyright (wma in low bitrate is a little bit better than mp3).

And also (even though the sound quality is not always great) they have on the left side of the page the link to Radio Roxette, so you can listen 24 hours a day to Roxette.
