This is a fake, but tremendously funny interview by Swedish comedian Glenn Killing from ’92. Some of it is in Swedish, but the funny thing about it is that the interview is performed in “English” even though they are in Sweden:
Nu är det dags för mej att få presentera två storheter som, inte sedan Abbas storhetstid, har gjort så här mycket för svensk pops ansikte utåt. Inte minst ”over there” där de flera gånger legat etta på den prestigefyllda Billboard-listan. Ni vet vem jag talar om, mina damer och herrar - Marie Fredriksson, Per Gessle - The Roxette!
Glenn Killing (GK): Hi, how are you? Hello Pöör! Hello Marie! Great to see you! Welcome, welcome back I must say, you eh.. eh.. you’ve just been to South America down there for a really successful big tour of South America. Tell me how eh how was it? How was the tour?
Pöör (P): Yes, that was fantastic. You know when when you play for like 35.000, maybe even 400.000 dollars you eh... people..you feel the the the hot come and they all knew the lyrics to It Must Have Been Lavv, (to Marie) Didn’t they, Marie?
Marie (M): What?
P: It Must Have Been Lavv!
M: Thaaaanx!
GK: Eh..great great...Pöör, that is a real classic song there, It Must Have Been Love, and I must say, Marie...hello! your vocals sound really good on that track as well!
M: Thaaanx!
GK: How did you write that song, Pöör?
P: Yes, that’s was really funny because I was sitting at home and I was strooming my guitar there like him, Tom Petty who think is really fantastic.
GK: Yeah, he’s incredible!
P: Yes, no no no, not incredible...; fantastic! And I was wrote down the text and I was calling the Marie on the mobile phone and I sang it on her!Yes, and that was incredible.
GK: Yeah? Fantastic!
P (to Marie): Du måste prata lite grann, du kan inte bara sitta och fila naglarna!
GK: Pöör...Pöör...
M: Fantastic you know...fanta... just fantastic!
GK: Great, great! Pöör, with your permission Pöör I’d like to sing...
P (to Marie): Han vill nog ha premisserna att sjunga en sång, är det OK?
GK: ...I’d like to sing a song of yours...is that OK if I do that?
M: Thaaaanx!
P: Inte ”thanx” (to GK) Eh, yes, you’re going to sing it acoustic or...
GK: No, eh fantas..fantastic electric actually...
P: Yeah! FanTAStic electric! Yeah that’s good and eh...one question also...eh; do we get our TV impearance money here or...should we...could we have it in Australian dollars please?
M: Fantastic dollars!
P (to M): Men tyst med dej nu! Du pratar alltid på fel ställe och så säger du fel saker!
GK: Pöör..Pöör..I’m sorry, why don’t you talk to Casten down there...
P: Yeah...the stage...back stage...
GK: Yeah! You know!
P: OK, then we do that!
GK: You do that! Ladies and gentlemen; a big hand for the Roxette!

I am sorry, but I think that was just booooooring! And not that easy to read... there is no fluency in the writing style...

That was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. (I actually have it on video.) To this day, I see it and crack up it was done to perfection!

Well on top of that “Marie” is sitting there filing her nails (If you didn’t get that by the text ;)) and Pöör spends most of the time flashing the peace sign all over the place.
After seeing this, a few people and I had a few inside jokes about it.... actually we still do. *grins*
The cool part, after this interview, Glenn starts to play “How Do You Do!” And Pelle!! is the drummer of Glenn’s house band. :) Well, I should say that he TRIES to sing HDYD! IT’s some hysterical version where he starts yelling “I’m so pretty” while playing HDYD in hyperspeed.
