Billboard says: Roxette Plan Fall Tour!

Billboard.com published a story today (see “article continues” for full text) in which they talk about the upcoming European tour and erroneously report that Edel America is “due to release ’Room Service’ sometime this year.”
(Puls contributed to this story.)
Swedish pop/rock duo Roxette will embark this fall on a European tour, the group’s first in six years. Opening Sept. 25 in Stuttgart, Germany, the tour will take the group through a total of 25 dates in Germany, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, and Estonia before closing Nov. 17 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The group will be touring in support of “Room Service” (EMI Sweden) released last month in Europe. Recorded at Polar Studio in Stockholm and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London, it’s the follow-up to 1999’s “Have a Nice Day,” and was produced by longtime collaborator Clarence Ofwerman.
Roxette scored success in the late 1980s and early ’90s with such No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits as “Joyride” (1991), “Listen to Your Heart” (1989), and “The Look” (1989). The group’s best-of set, “Don’t Bore Us, Get to the Chorus” was released stateside last year by Edel America, which is due to release “Room Service” sometime this year.

“erroneously” = in error. Billboard’s mention of Edel wasn’t correct.
