on the book of the Balladas you read a coment about the solds of Have a Nice Day....(more of 2 millions)......the question is and Room Service how many?
i think that Roxette can sold a 2 millions cd it’s a great number cos on USA and UK Emi no edit the cds,and the Emi dont spent money for Roxette promotions(i hope that RS sold more or near 2 millions)............
anybody knows how many copies sold of RS?
thanx for all and Rox on
from Spain

File sharing with Audiogalaxy, KazaA and so on.... 1 million is very good!! :)

1 mil is excellent given privacy, file sharing, and remember, RS wasn’t released in US/Canada. And EMI england didn’t do much either.
Even the top acts today rarely sell >10 mil anymore with filesharing..

Hold on a sec... Room Service WAS released in Canada. It was just released a few weeks later (of course)

It did sell 1 M - at least that’s what the official ’Ballads’ statement said.
But isn’t it quite odd considering that 25% of the sales came from Brazil?

250000 copies is a “normal” number of rox sales per album in brazil i think..... so the “strange” number is in the rest of the world.... even in Argentina.

i think rox’s sales aren’t that bad, considering that EMI just aren’t promoting them much at all and that the US don’t even get any releases & filesharing etc these days. Last i heard Rox sold about 3000 copies of RS in OZ and thats no promo at all compared to CBB which i think went gold (35000)? I still believe that if EMI were prepared to promote them abit they’d definitely sell much more. I really wouldn’t be surprised if TBH doesn’t sell much more than RS here in OZ :(
