Written by teogeb on September 27, 2001 to .

Roxette’s support act in Sweden, Finland and Estonia will be a band called The Rasmus, reports Finnish tabloid Ilta-Sanomat.

The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band who is praised for its powerful performing charisma. The members of the band are young (avg. 21-year-old), but they have been performing together for about 7 years already.

The band’s latest album was produced by former Roxette guitarist Micke “Nord” Andersson. According to Ilta-Sanomat, he recommended The Rasmus to be Roxette’s support act.

I downloaded some songs (have listned to “f-f-f falling” and “Chill” so far”). It really doesn’t sound bad at all! i’ll download the rest of their songs also and see if they’re equally good. Does anyone know how many albums they’ve made?

They’ve made four albums. The previous ones have been slightly
more punk-rock style than the latest “Into”-album. (IMHO the latest
one is by far their best one.)
