atay: RTL Single Tip

A thing about you is the single tip from a German TV Channel called RTL. They showed a small promo clip for atay. (See the Video Text Page 429.)
They write the following in German: (The english translation will come tomorrow from me or - I hope - from someone else)

Die Geschichte der Pop-Band Roxette ist natürlich auch die Geschichte großartiger Balladen. Schließlich sind Marie Fredriksson und Per Gessle so etwas wie das Königspaar der schwedischen Popmusik, und seit anno Abba ist die Popmusik unserer nordischen Landsleute eine feste Größe im Musik-Business.
Roxette beglücken uns mit großen Melodien, so leicht wie Knäckebrot von Wasa und mindestens so beliebt wie Ikea!

Die Besten Balladen von Roxette auf ein Album zu Packen ist ja schon eine feine Sache (VÖ “Best of Ballads” zu Anfang November), aber noch besser ist, das Marie und Per mit “A Thing About You” eine brandneue Ballade oben drauf gepackt haben.
Diese offenbart einmal mehr die Klasse des Erfolgsduos, das schon seit 1986 aktiv immer wieder die internationale Popszene aufzuwirben vermag. “A Thing About You” ist ein Muss für jeden Roxette-Fan!

I’d say MTV and Viva are equally popular... they have about the same amount of people watching, so it doesn’t really make a difference - MTV’s more into hiphop and rap anyway and it looks like they won’t play ATAY at all >:-(
It is played on MTV2 Pop, though, and you can even vote for ATAY online (the show’s called Wishlist), all you have to do is clicking on this link *g*

Yeah, MTV probably won’t play ATAY even if it gets at the top of the selling singles chart. Same with new Celine-I’m Alive, not that I like it but the song sells very well in Germany and it is not on MTV there. Everything is so complicated nowadays:)

It’s all good with RTL, radio charts in Germany but what about MTV? It’s not shown there yet! Can you guys tell me, is MTV more popular TV Channel than Viva in Germany?
And what about the other MTV divisions, any airplay yet?

P.S. Here in Bulgaria ATAY is at #13 on The Top 20 countdown of country’s biggest music channel.
