I used to play in Under 19 from Karachi zone. Anywayz... I would still say that Per should do something about this face. Well, for me it does count what other people say... of course, to a certain extent only. We are all part of a community and to avoid clashes between people sometimes you just can’t say ’I give a to what you’re saying’. Obviously I never let other people control my life (you know me), I always have my personal opinion but, you see, if someone takes the energy to criticise me for something or gives an advice, it’s the minimum that I listen to him/her and see if there is anything in his/her advice or opinion I should consider taking.
Most of you probably had the same experience: when you mentioned someone you were a Roxette fan, they said somehting like “Oh, Roxette’s so over” and things like that. This is something I don’t agree with, and I always explain my opinion about it, telling people why they aren’t over: not being on the charts every months of their 16-year long career doesn’t make someone over. Most cases people understand that.
As I have written before, I personally don’t think men should polish their fingernails at all. If people come and say PG looks ridiculous with black fingernails I have to agree with them. This is my opinion.
You know, throughout the years being a Roxette fan, Per Gessle, as for most of you, was a special person. I don’t treat him as an idol or something like that, just a cool guy. Whatever he did - his songs, his great sense of humour, etc. - I liked that. I didn’t find anything wrong in him. However, appearing with black fingernails in videos and photosessions makes me feel a bit strange... I hope to make it clear... since ATAY, he seemed to live a life that, according to my beliefs and values, was completely okay. Since I don’t like men painting their fingernails and Per did that... it’s different now. I’m not saying I don’t repsect him anymore, he’s just the same guy as before. But this is something I don’t like in him. Like many people I know.
Of course he’s an adult and knows what he wants. If he wants to polish her nails, that’s his business. I only said that according to my values, he souldn’t have done that. Clear?
@ vaxjoe: Please, please don’t say such a thing that being conservative is bad. It isn’t at all. But I don’t want to open a debate on this, that’d be OT.

BTW, I would never polish my nails. But hey, it’s Per! He’s a rockstar! I doubt he’d style like this in private life.

I can only say that the pics are cool, Marie never looked better and Per looks fine as well, neither old nor tired. Of course he has some more wrinkles now, but isn’t it normal?

The photo looks alright and i wouldn’t actually call it pink. loads of my teachers at school wear stuff like that (without the nail polish) and i think it looks ok. i have to say that i think per looked better when i was a kid. that wasn’t long ago (1987) but he looked a lot more cuddly then! his hair was more wild and he looked a lot more fun. im not dissing him as i know’s not 28 any more, but he doesn’t look as fun!
