Yep, The Corrs have released a live cd called ’Live in Dublin’, which is only available in the USA. It contains 11 tracks, of which 4 are covers. Bono from U2 is singing on 2 of them.
More info can be found on: www.corrsonline.com

I won’t be rushing to e-bay to buy it... they’ve already made too many ’live’ albums...
The Corrs ’MTV Unplugged’ was enough... but then they came out with ’In Blue (special edition)’ containing more live tracks which was too much...

What´s the idea releasing 3 - 4 different versions of “Talk On Corners” album?

OK, I LIKE the Corrs, don’t love them. I dig their singles and stuff, but overall, their sound is a bit too ADULT CONTEMPORARY and smooth for my taste. I have the “Best Of” CD, with a burned 2nd CD of rare tracks and faves off their albums, including highlights off that “Live In Dublin” CD. That’s all I need. I had the videos DVD, but got bored with it quickly so I sold it to a friend.
I do agree that their excess of live recordings (the Japanese “Live” EP, bonus live CD with “Talk On Corners: Tour Edition”, “MTV Unplugged”, live recordings with the “In Blue: Special Edition”, and now “Live In Dublin”), it’s just too much, and the group lost its focus. I mean, they only have 3 studio albums, and 5 live recordings/3 live DVDs too!! Too much, the balance is off, should be the other way around, and fewer live recordings, as they are not a jam band like Phish with 5 hour concerts, a log of over 1000 songs, and bootlegged recordings + live CD series, know what I mean?? Sure, the Corrs are a great live band and musicians of the highest order, but they lost focus definitely.

I am a huuuge fan of the Corrs, and although I think that their last album In Blue was proof they were trying too hard to win the hearts of Americans, I have to say that the Corrs have a sound that is not like most of the crap you hear on the radio EVERY day. The family is incredibly talented, with Andrea on lead vocals and tin whistle (she’s also starring in the upcoming film “Boys of County Clare, which will premiere Sept 13th in Toronto). They are a good example of a close band, mainly because they are family. They write most of their songs, and they have a stage presence and aura that can get you totally addicted! In Blue may be my least favorite album of theirs, but in that album, you’ll notice that they try to get a mixture of rock, pop, reggae, and of course Irish music. You could say that I lived my teen years beside the Corrs. I remember hearing Runaway for the first time on the radio. I was only 12 then, but it was terribly romantic and I was hooked! Despite the fact that the girls are just plain gorgeous (which i envy so!), they all have something that most of hugely popular musicians DON’T have nowadays: class. They are coming out with their fourth studio album in the next few months.

Oh, and lets hope that they AREN’T all but dead in those next few months here in the U.S.

in blue wasnt their best album becuase it was a blatant attempt to win american interest...i mena when u start working with peoepl like mutt lang to get noticed i think that says in some part thats u’[ve stopped being a self described artists and start leaving the ability to have a career up to other peopel.. per and marie nipped it in the bud they just said sorry america isnt as interested and they dont come here...i can accept that

In Blue was a Very Good album. It had Much to offer.
There is nothing wrong with working with Mut.
The man knows his music ;)
On the other hand, I’m not sure how much Bono could give them :(

I think The Corrs without sounding Irish, sound very false. And I used to be a big fan.

No, it doesn’t. It is good!
If you liked the “In Blue” Album, then you will like this album too.
If you didn’t like the previous albums, you [probably] are not a Corrs fan, so then it is no use saying you don’t like it.
