Polish New Year’s rumor is true

Roxette, among other acts, will perform – as rumored – at Polsat TV's New Year's Eve party in Warsaw, Poland. Per and Marie will perform some of their biggest hits like "Joyride" and "It Must Have Been Love". Roxette will arrive in Warsaw for the occasion on a chartered plane.
The concert starts at 20.00 and will last at least five and a half hours. This is the third Polsat New Year's party. "It will be enormously fun!!" Per comments to The Daily Roxette.

Personally, I don’t think a performance at a New Year Eve Party in Poland is the best place place for the new single to be premiered. Who else beside the Poles are gonna watch that? It’s not an international event. So, I don’t count on it.

The last’s New Year’s Eve on Polsat was watched by close 4,000,000 Poles, so it’s a quite good promotion for an act. Many people don’t really know Roxette is active again, so it could help to sell-out Polish gig. And to be true, this event has a quite high budget with over 1 mln EUR, so Rox should be well-paid for this :)

The only thing that worries me is if it’s playback or not...

@Raëlian A show in Poland is of course good to make promotion for the single in Poland. I doubt there are many shows aviable to participate in that gives promotion in all the countries at the same time. So a New Years Party in Poland in front of 4 million people is a great start, atleast in my opinion.

Per Gessle write to his Twitter that Roxette finally decided on the first single, and the video for the new single will be shoot soon for an upcoming album for February 2011.

So what? Many other artists have this same title, but I don’t care. As long as Rox song is good, it doesn’t matter.
