Roxette to play in Norway and Denmark as well
(Updated) - The Norwegian newspaper Aftenbladet reported yesterday that Roxette will perform in Viste Strand pop festival in Stavanger August 21. The pop festival "Den store sommerfesten" ("The Big Summer Fest") is arranged for the fourth time.
According to one of the organizers, Per Vervik, this will appeal to people throughout the Rogaland southern county as well as pop fans far beyond the country borders. He also points out that it will be an outdoor concert as well as the only Roxette performance in Norway.
"Per Gessle knows what it takes to capture listeners' attention with his songs. In addition, Marie Fredriksson is a brilliant vocalist and together they have played themselves into people's minds", says Per Vervik to the journal.
He continues to add that Roxette will go to Randaberg with a full band and full stage production, just as the other gigs in Sweden and Russia. 8000 tickets will go on sale Friday March 5 09.00 on www.billettservice.no and the cost is between 550NOK and 850 NOK (€68-105).
The supporting act is Paperboys.
Update: Roxette will also play in Denmark, at Smukfest, which takes place between 4th and 8th of August. That makes a total of five dates and according to d&d management that is all:
August 8 - Skanderborg, Denmark
August 14 - Anderstorp, Sweden
August 21 - Stavanger, Norway
September 10 - Moscow, Russia
September 12 - St. Petersburg, Russia

I hope if there are more concerts in the works they announce them in the next week or two.
I’m fully funded for 2 months in Europe coming from Australia and hope to tie in a Roxette concert or two along with a grand prix and a couple of other things in Europe.....
I have some dates in mind (the bulk of July and August) but if there are a couple of easier to get to venues than Anderstorp, then please for the love of God tell me before I start booking $3,000+ worth of flights to and around Europe....

what’s the difference between all these dates? i’ve already bought the Anderstorp’s one.. will Roxette be performing full concert there? i really hope so with their new songs etc.. i always wanted to have Europe trip but i kept telling myself, “let’s wait for Roxette to reunite and tour first then I’ll definitely go there”.. now here I am planning my 1 month Europe trip.. already booked my flight ticket all the way from Malaysia.. would love to meet Swedish people that can help and guide us there.. will be arriving in Gothenburg airport on the 13th of Aug night.. i’m seriously looking for Swedish people that can help us there.. my email is [email protected]

Marie Fredriksson Online reports that Marie will perform live on stage in Café Opera, Stockholm in an event called “Still rocking in the free world.”
The event is organized by Lass aepa e Lindbom who is remembered as the producer of Marie’s early solo albums. According to the event information in Facebook, the event, taking place on March 12, is dedicated especially to the people “who used Café Opera as their living room in the 80s.” The accuplacer are only available via Swedish bank giro, so it may be difficult to obtain tickets abroad.
Other artists in the event will be Mats Ronander, Anne-Lie Rydé, Niklas Strömstedt and Lasse Lindbom. They are performing together with the musicians Pelle Alsing, Mats
acsm “Gaffa” Karlsson, Patrik Lundström, Hasse Olsson and Mikael Bolyos.
