This small snippet sounds great!!
If the whole album is going to sound this way its going to be amazing!.

Yeah, absolutely geat!!!
And now we know that these lyrics http://dailyroxette.com/node/18204?page=3 posted by imamzombieinthem and in parts by Robbie are wrong.
Robbie also gave us the tracklist...

On the iphone just press the name of the file not the “play” button.

Come to think about it it’s silly really
when you’re thinking about it even less you seem to know
Come to think about it it’s silly really
when you’re talking about it even less you seem to know
it’s so silly silly silly
Have been written down by friend of mine.

Hey! Cake anyone?
Thank you 1000times. The snippet Sounds awsome. Its so absolutly fresh. I think we all will be very happy with the resault of what will come. If Marie would sing on some of the tracks, we could name it roxette. What do you think?
DEFAULT_GREEN said on October 22, 2008 12:03:
oh for crying in a bucket, not another roxette post!
The track sounds cool though, the silly silly silly parts sounds a bit rough vocal wise, not nice and rounded like the rest of the chorus but the song sound promising
memami said on October 22, 2008 12:42:
I don’t want to post another roxette thing. I just wanna post that per is back at is Best. Just wanna compare it with his best years.
7-Twenty-7 said on October 22, 2008 14:16:
I cannot judge a song out of a 16-second snippet. I will wait to hear the whole song to have a proper opinion.
roxtexanet said on October 22, 2008 14:35:
I haven’t heard it yet, but I’m VERY excited about the comparison to TCOTH! One of my all-time favourite songs!!
tevensso (moderator) said on October 22, 2008 14:45:
Hmm, I wouldn’t say The Center of the Heart, more of a ’70s version of The Look?
heyoka said on October 22, 2008 15:38:
And I’m dissapointed. For me it has nothing to do with real disco of the 70s, at least not this song. It sounds very much electro dance á la Kylie Minogue with hard voice modulation... . I love Per as a pop rocker, I love SOAP as one of the best Gessle albums, but this single, at least this 20 sec refrain which i heard... It did not give me positive feelings. I love guitars and a real voice but here in this single everything is too much modulated, at least for my ears.
Roxette-atic said on October 22, 2008 16:24:
WOW! Best chorus ever! If the rest of the song is as good as this, then this is the Per song Ive been waiting for since 2001!
Lantartida said on October 22, 2008 17:24:
I agree, heyoka. I have been listening this refrain four or five times and I feel a bit dissapointed too. I thought the same: “Kylie Gessle”? No, thank you.TCOTH is not the Gessle I missed. More pop-rock or more SOAP would have been better. Anyway, it is just a short snippet: I will wait until the full album.
gessle-addict said on October 22, 2008 17:37:
Unlike tevenesso’s opinion, for me it *is* very much TCOTH. I think that song had a strong disco feeling all over it. As for ’Silly really’, I also recognize ABBA in it, not in the vocals but in the in rythm and instrumentation.
Roxette-atic said on October 22, 2008 17:44:
Yea...I think its more close to ABBA than to Kylie. I love this snippet=)
Jud (moderator) said on October 22, 2008 18:27:
it doesn’t sound to TCOTH to me.. but also no The Look.. but some other song I cannot come up with now. Maybe it just sounds like a mix of Gessle songs, it sounds in any case Gessle.
PS: and far far far away it reminds me of Mika’s Relax and Grace Kelly. On the other hand, Mika always reminded me of early Rox ;)

beautiful song!
To me if Per and Marie, had decided to return to work together, this new song could be a disk of roxette, and perhaps the album...
For me the sound is in a rox style!
heyoka said on October 22, 2008 19:37:
Well i can understand people here who heard this short snippet and they found that it sounds like Roxette “TCOTH” (I could even add a drop of “Stars”). I hear it too but of course i cannot say that full song has this climate.
@Judith: I like Mika too, but Mika sings much more energetically and Per sounds too softly here in my opinion (what I like personally). His heart and soul belongs to the real pop rock music not to the disco. I think is kind of experiment and fun for him to make something totally new like this.
As like TWATG is typical Gessle style of music,SOAP has Christopher soul and Helena heart. This time I think we will enjoy Clarence music skills in larger edition ;). Is just my own feelings, but is still too early to make too deep conjectures. :)
abysmo said on October 22, 2008 19:42:
Something between ’What am I gonna do when I get a little excited a little in pain...’ and ’Walking like man, hitting like a hammer she’s a juvenile scam...’ :-D . But it sounds really good and hey, after all those Mazarins, SOAPs and Handig mans, extremelly fresh. Can’t wait to hear the whole song. And I Didn’t Mean to Turn You On also.

No, i don’t like it.I suppose i was expecting a TWATG style, but...not electro, not all that synths.
hope i’m wrong but i think it won’t hit internationally, nor arrives to spain also.:(
daniel_alv said on October 22, 2008 20:23:
looks like you (atleast swedes with a cellphone) can buy it at that page, has someone tried?
kilasir said on October 22, 2008 20:31:
It sounds promissing for me. Last part of the snipped.. This melody.. It reminds me Ga och fiska. Dont you think?
daniel_alv said on October 22, 2008 20:45:
I like what I hear by the way, really happy that the previosly posted lyrics were not true to :D
looking forward to the whole song!
I think it sounds a little bit like TWATG.
ncurran said on October 22, 2008 20:52:
I like it....but then I am a kylie fan as well as a Rox fan after all....lol
It sounds very much pop....and pretty much what a new Roxette record could have sounded like, though of course I am only judging it on a very short clip, but I do think I am going to like this album a lot more than Per’s more recent solo records!
daniel_alv said on October 22, 2008 20:55:
I think it reminds me a little of Kix, espcially the part where he sings “the less you seem to know”
7-Twenty-7 said on October 23, 2008 00:00:
Now that you mention it, it does sound closer to Kylie (or Britney, or any other so-called current pop-star) than to The Bee Gees (or any othe true disco act from the 70’s). The proper disco music didn’t have such a synthetic sound. That’s the trend it followed from 1980 onwards. Late disco hits, like “Funkytown” were more synth-based, indeed. But I was waiting for a classic disco sound. Time will tell, maybe the song as a whole sounds different.
Roxrider_USA said on October 23, 2008 00:35:
I do like it as well.
The essential original and unique Gessle styel and sound is there.
That makes me very excited.
Take care!

Sounds nothing like TCOTH, just becuase it is sung at fast pace? I think why you guys
tend to think it sounds like TCOTH is the beat. very similar, but the track DOES NOT sound like
TCOTH

I hope the album will sound more or less like this song, I like it quite much.
I couldn’t imagine another SOAP... I have only listened to that album maybe 3times... and enough, there are not many songs that I like from it.
cskendras said on October 23, 2008 09:24:
I like what I hear... it really reminds me of MIKA, but with more sound and deepth...
I Didn’t Mean To Turn You On...sounds interesting!
Silly Really...very fresh, something very new!

Hi!
Same question as yesterday. Cam anybody make mp3 out of the flash snippets. My iPhone can not play flash. Please.
Thx
Robbie said on October 23, 2008 09:39:
From what I heard “Silly Really” kicks ass, it’s very radio-friendly, up-to-date and it might hit big everywhere if it gets in the right environment.
Can’t wait to wake up on Dec. 3 :-)
RobS said on October 23, 2008 12:07:
Sort of reminds me of Kix, at least the “come to think about it really...” part.
Now just have to wait for the whole song.
