Roxette World Tour 2011 schedule

Bad ticket sales are not so bad

Swedish news service TT Spektra has interviewed EMA Telstar's CEO Thomas Johansson about the alledged poor ticket sales for Per Gessle's "En händig man" tour. "It's the best selling tour in Sweden at the moment," Thomas Johansson says.

Thomas also comments that around 80,000 out of 140,000 tickets have been sold to date, and that he's satisfied since the sales is going fine still. People say that the "Mazarin" tour sold 160,000 tickets in total, but Thomas says it was closer to 140,000. He also lets us know that normally a tour sells 50 % of the tickets before a big tour starts and that EMA counts on selling somewhere between 130,000 and 140,000 tickets. That makes an average of 7,000 people per concert, which is the same as "Mazarin."

very nice that Per still has success, and is in great demand with public..he’s the best and must continue making new projects.

Still the biggest *G* ... Yahoo...

ow who cares how many tickets he sells. i dont at all . just go and enjoy.

Actually I don’t care... But then again... As long as he earns his millions, there will be new material ... And that I wan’t ... So ... Well ... I do care afterall *G*

Ahaa! The concert places for this tour are much bigger than for Mazarin tour!

Do you think he will sell more tickets in the next days?

As I’m always optimistic,I think he will sell more Tickets!
Have Fun!!!

80,000 is not too bad and I feel he will sell more with the album at No.1. Alot of posters for the Tour are around Stockholm, Goteborg and Malmo.

I also think that he will sell more tickets as soon as the weather gets better. I also read somewhere that many people in the smaller cities wait to buy there tickets to the last minute.

I expected nothing else from Gessle, he is a genius songwriter who just can’t write bad songs. They can be either good or great, and tour is bound to be a success. I just envy those who have the chance to go there and enjoy the show, lucky you are. The only thing that comforts me is that I’ll read coverage of the tour, and I’m sure TDR will do it brilliantly as always. I want to say thank you TDR stuff for everything you do for Roxette fans.

Normally I would have gone, but since the RoxBox affair I don’t like that man any more... and since he said ’if you don’t like it, don’t buy it’, I don’t buy his stuff any more!

Anyway, Per will be the king of the summer anyway :)

The moon is alright
