Bring TDR back to life!!!

I'm not really sure how we're gonna do this, but TDR needs to come back to life! It used to be fun here, and I think that with a little bit of 'work', it could be back to being the fun place it used to be. Granted, things aren't the same anymore, what with what happened last September, and that people have gone across to the other sites, but there are still a good number of visitors to the site daily? I know I still come here and check the news and discussion boards daily. There is just not much to talk about..... Things will pick up when there are new releases, be it another Swedish or SOAP album from Per, or another Marie solo album, or (in our dreams) a new Roxette album. But in the meantime, it's down to the ones who haven't lost their faith to keep TDR alive! Keep on Roxing in the free world!!!!!! :-)

First: :-)
Yet it is not so easy to keep up a talk, even more a “good one”.
Most of the time I am not interested in the various topics OR I simply can’t find something sensible to contribute. “Hey, yes, I like it too” (or similar) becomes very boring after a short while. ;-)
Well, I try to keep some of the “game topics” alive, but I do not like it that much talking to myself. *big grin*
Furthermore “TDR” is not the place to feel at home for me, I am more active in the gessle-forum. Do not get me wrong, I registered here last year in July or August (can’t remember) and nothing that has ’happened’ changed my attitude towards TDR: It’s a great newspaper! :-)
What do we need?
-> Interesting topics and the people who are willing to contribute
Quality is made by the people who are involved. ;-)

it is not so strange it is so quite.
Since the lay-out has changed I visit TDR only once a week instead of daily, because it is so bad readable.
The only reason I come here at TDR is that it is still the best source for roxette-related news, unfortunately brought via a website with a horrible lay-out.
When it changes again to the better (for example back to the previous layout) I will come back every day and I am sure more people have the same idea.
And that could result in a lively TDR.....

IMHO, it has nothing to do with the layout, it has more to do with the lack of interesting conversations. And Roxette’s current situation doesn’t allow them too much. I guess people can’t comment on anything if there are no news :s
I still check TDR very often, though.

I have talk with many people and everybody find the new look of TDR bad and hard to work with..so I agree with that...
The fact that people continue to talk in other forums ,but come here just for one look, prove it..
People have a personal life and work and when something is bad to read and for example must enter few times to see the last comment or you can’t edit something that you wrote in a hurry.. ...ooh be sure to what kind of reaction leads it..

There is new single after 10 day..maybe things will get better...people maybe will swallow the new look..,but if they visit others forums it won’t be easy to not compare.

I’m the same, i still check almost daily for news/discussions, but there just isn’t any news going around, which generally means less people also post in the discussions as well.

So, if the old layout was back, this place would flourish?
Oh heaven, get over it finally!

Unreal
I believe it‘s a mixture between the layout , the lack of good topics and of corse, i think there is a great amount of people who fear to say something that could get missunderstood.
I also think that most roxers lost their intrest.
For me I felt a bit tired of fights...so I give up to read this site...and went to English spoken sites or Italian, and even Portuguees.
Some friends of mine felt the same.
However today I decided to give it a second chance...and i‘m regreting about it cos I wanted to “re open” a toppic and i found a lot of rubish there....
Of course the forum is in spanish so I said to myself ..lets! start a fresh one at http://www2.dailyroxette.com/node/16330
.....maybe we get lucky and avoid unpleasant or inappropriate
comments...
Non-spanish speakers are also invited (i know that it is the international secction, and that there is a roxette secction, but since international ....)
On the other hand i want to say that i don´t like the fact that there is no more an option to edit your own messeages, at least it doesn‘t exists at some subforums such as international or maybe it‘s a browser problem . Dunno :(
In adition ..some colors wont hurt!
Let‘s keep roxing!! ROXETTE IS ALIVE.

I check TDR out daily...The news section is the best of all Roxette-sites in my opinion...
but..sorry..the discussion board here has never been very good...sorry to say ...

I have an Idea how to bring TDR back 2 Life.
Why not use some Rainbow Colors as Background Color or something like that!
Because Black on White sometimes makes me have a headaches after Reading a while

I check TDR daily because it’s still the best way to get news about Roxette or related stuff, but I have to say I don’t spend here as much time as before because, for me, it’s almost impossible to read (from the font to the colours).
On the other hand, in a previous post I read someone said that there is a “lack of interesting conversations”. I totally agree. But, what can we do? Every time there was an interesting topic to talk about it was closed.

To be positive, i love it here. I visit this place everyday and i have no trouble with the design. Its so easy to work with. Some places on the internet are so confusing, and this is very easy. And I dont think that new design will change anything, I think its up to us. And of course as long as there now Rox news, I think this site will stay exactly the same. But as said, im having fun and I ALWAYS take my time to check the news etc. everyday. And I enjoy it :)
