TDR not listed in HITS Booklet?

I was shocked and dumb founded to read in the sleeve notes that Roxette did not recommend visiting The Daily Roxette. This is the unofficial official website.
What on earth was Per thinking? He admits to using TDR as his home page. There is NOTHING on Roxette.se or his lame My Space that is worthy of looking at.
At the end of the day, it’s not a huge deal but if this new CD was used to capture fans again then heading over to Roxette.se would result in ultimate disappointment.
Can anyone explain? Really odd.

I take your points and I’m certainly not a mouth piece for this website nor the “gentleman” who “moderates” these pages but still it is the place for Roxette news full stop.

wasn’t TDR listed on a previous roxette sleeve (or something)? i’m sure it was.

it’s a pity that per denies so fast something that doesn’t really go his way; for the general public it would have been interesting to follow even the polemic concerning rox; it shows that the interest in this band is alive. something like :”wow, some crazy people are REALLY arguing about demos? wow, it must be something here”.
I guess he can’t cope with too much criticism. He hates it. That’s a really bad thing for him. Not that he’d be fond on praising only, but he really deslikes to be criticised the hard way. Too bad. The only alive rox site wasn’t mentioned in the booklet for the sake of his ego...
And even the sharing of the songs - c’mon, that was bad, but this is A FAN site, people out there can understand this. TDR shouldn’t have been mentioned like the official site, but as being the best fan site...and that would have harmed no one. It is just that Mr.Gee doesn’t like to be exposed to the larger public in the way we fans recently tended to depict him. Awful really. He loses important credits from us, I guess. He seeks too much to be Mr. Perfect and always looking for people who say things his way.
Bad-bad personality trait that he never mentions, btw.
TDR should have been in the booklet. It’s their 20 anniversary for God’s sake!!...It’s almost embarrassing that they skipped TDR just because it wasn’t favourable to Per lately.

The booklet must have been printed long before the “box argue”.

tosh , tdr is more important than most of them websites, file sharing, they was only one incident even then wasnt as bad as some other forums iv seen ! ! !
Max-Tob said on October 18, 2006 09:14:
I doubt it was actually printed LONG before the “incidents”, the text was probably set, ready to be printed, but not actually printed. There are always proofreadings that can be done until late, right before entering the printing house. they go through the thank you´s lists, the titles and other details a few times right before being printed. Maybe they erased TDR from the list during the last proofreading.lol Either way, the TDR should have been mentioned. No excuse really.

I think it’s pretty normal to only print the official websites. Most artists do it that way. TDR in the TBH&TPH booklets was a nice exeption. Wouldn’t make a dram out of it. And it’s very easy to find TDR. Just type Roxette into Google, even better Google News! ;-)

Sascha i agree, most only put in offical stuff, even if there websites suck lol.

i think too much is being read into it...they probably just put the first ones that camre to mind in.and they would want to advertise SOAP and myspace websites more

Yeah, but TDR wasn’t in HAND either. Or maybe I remember wrong

I read that too in the hits booklet - but can say that I am not suprised or dumbfounded as:
The discussion boards are filled with a lot of negativity towards Roxette, Per, Songs, Albums etc - fine that’s people’s opinions i’m not getting into that.
Also the file sharing of the new songs could have damaged relations with Roxette and TDR and that is also why. (I didn’t participate in the file sharing that went on and others didn’t - but a lot of people did - much more exciting waiting to get the songs on CD)
Those are the two reasons I thought of as soon as I saw TDR as not being a recommended site in the hits booklet.
