Hungarian radio station Sláger polls listeners on “One Wish”
Written by XRezs on September 16, 2006 to Releases.
BUDAPEST - One of the largest commercial radio station in Hungary is ready to play “One Wish.” They have an online poll on their website where one can listen to short snippets and rate whether new singles, played just once or twice on the station, should be added to their playlist.
EDITOR’S NOTE: While this newspaper is obviously not going to run a separate front page news story on each radio station, in every country, that begins to play Roxette’s new single now that airplay has begun, we think these first reports of radio airplay promotion are of sufficient interest to our readers to merit publication. Well, guys, that’s kinda weird because one country starts playing it earleir than another.

Well, this is an example of what could have been updated and added in the previous article, not a new article for it..

The song is fantastic but the lyrics are a bit silly!
I love Per singing the chorus and overall the song feels like a HIT that you just cannot take out of your mind. Although comparisons are to be avoided I have not heard a Rox-chorus catchier than ONE WISH since the time of Hello-U-fool-I-Love-U!
Well done, guys! Thank you for another great Pop-Rox song, Per!
C’mon get to the chorus:
’Cause I was thinking that
hey-hey-hey
maybe one day
a wish of you and me
yeah hey-hey-hey
maybe one day
a wish of you and me

This sounds like it is going to be a really great song from the part of it i’ve heard on this radio site.
I’m no familiar with the language on the radio’s site though - what one do we tick to get Roxette played on this radio station?

Hello from Hungary!
This radio station lets us listen the snippets for voting. Later they will do a list about the playable songs and take care of the listeners vote. So, if you vote for the song, they will probably play it more times.
By the way they play a lot of Rox-songs :)
Sadly the Hungarian EMI hasn’t answered us if RoxBox would be available in Hungary, but it’s good news that the radio stations got the single...
