Wow! That’s cool.... I’d like to know what are the official Russian Releases of Roxette albums. I know they have (apart from pirate copies) licensed and genuine issues, I suppose this is a licensed release....
I wonder if the NTSC version of the bonus DVD is made for the Asian part of Russia....

An NTSC version is a good sign for fans in America at least. Looks like they should be able to get one that works for them.

Can anyone recommend a good shop in Europe that will ship to the US and take PayPal or Mastercard? Someone you have dealt with before? :) Preferably someone taking pre-orders? :) Thanks!
tr1dy said on September 8, 2006 17:50:
although there is nothing on the page about Roxette, the discography and search don’t show any signs. Well, I am sure they will appear later. Good news anyways. It doesn’t meant that the releases will be cheaper there though.

I love the original DBUGTTC photoshots so this cover I think is great !! A little out of date lol but probably the best strategy and best photoshoot to get people to buy it !!!

Deluxe Hits and The Rox Box. :) That one in Hong Kong looks like the non-Deluxe Hits. Thanks!

Well well, the mid‘90ies foto again... ok. I used to be one of those how didn‘t complain that much in the last days. But now I gotta say: they could‘ve chosen sthg more special for the box.
But - At least there are STARS in the O‘s!!!!
rox-kuryliw said on September 8, 2006 18:54:
ow im pleased this is the cover piccie, Going on the one wish cover it could have been ALOT worse lol. the DBUGTTC was iconic of the roxette image i personally think so fits it well in my opinion.
sille-rox said on September 8, 2006 18:55:
This is unbelievable!!! an very old Picture for a new Rox-Box.
i don´t like this Picture. A new Picture was better.
veneziano said on September 8, 2006 19:19:
@rox-kuryliw:
When it‘s about music and style the nienties in my opinion were quite colourless, and even if this is not the case with Roxette this foto reminds me of these boring days. In my opinion Roxette has always looked good in comparison to what was up-to-date at the time, and they still do (even if the OW pic is an unhappy choice) look very good right now. So I would have prefered a current-affair artwork, but - hey, and the end of the day it‘s not that important. Could‘ve been worse, though, you‘re right ;-)

I LOVE that pic, beside this article!
Wow, that would be a brilliant cover!!!
Smiling Marie....(-;
crashroxer said on September 8, 2006 19:28:
@Sille-rox: Why don’t you like it?? I think it’s ’better’ than our new “single cover” *g*

Wow!!
Great picture!!Finally a well known picture on the box, that’s ok for the normal people who remember Roxette in that way, when they’ve still got a little of success! A GOOD STRATEGY!!
Eloy said on September 8, 2006 21:56:
although the picture is known it looks really great and good!.
britnito said on September 8, 2006 23:10:
ok.—no new songs, or old ones unheard, but...no new pic? please!....
ncurran said on September 8, 2006 23:34:
Hmm, it kind of depends on the packaging. You cant tell a lot from seeing only the picture what the box will look like. Its a nice picture, and i dont suppose they need a new picture for a retrospective collection. I would rather they used this than the tacky ’One Wish’ sleeve anyway.
Still wont buy it though

I doubt anyone remembers this anymore, but back when “Have A Nice Day” came out, I was perhaps the most vocal critic of that poorly-designed cover and packaging. It STILL boggles my mind how that designer was able to “sell” that concept to Rox and EMI. What WERE they thinking?!? To me, it cheapened the whole album. I know, some people thought it was great. Go figure.
Anyway... I LOVE this this packaging! The photographer for THAT photo shoot was brilliant, and the whole design speaks of class and substance. Bravo to all involved! This would INDEED look good sitting out on someone’s coffee table. Just don’t actually drink coffee anywhere near it! ;-)
Krischan said on September 9, 2006 05:18:
The foto for the RoxBox is OK - no more but no less either.
I couldn’t find anything as to the release date on the site given. Latest news concerning Roxette are dated 14.02.2006! Hm.
Sparvogamarie said on September 9, 2006 06:23:
Lars-Erik: According to the Do You Want Fries With That website, Dimberg drugged them and that’s how they agreed to the cover ;)
sandyam said on September 9, 2006 07:24:
In another thread it is said that the box will cost about 75 Euros. Don’t you think that is way too much for this particular box that hardly provides us any new stuff? I sure think so!
Krischan said on September 9, 2006 07:29:
Well, they surely cannot achieve a price like that in countries with a lesser income. So I’m almost sure that the material will be cheaper in many countries on various continents.

I’d prefere a new picture ( http://flo.rootspace.net/pages/div/roxette-onewish.html ) even though the actual one is good ... but it would be better without the ugly pinkish tone, so their skin wouldn’t look like Miss Piggy’s ... I’d have made it more “golden” ( http://flo.rootspace.net/roxbox-newcolor.jpg )
Edit: The title ROXBOX would be much stronger without the italic “THE” and it would look better as well ...
Cheers.

I like the cover, a lot... okay so I was not keen on a older photos, but of course it’s a history box so to speak, so I like the picture chosen....
coyboyusa said on September 9, 2006 12:29:
cover makes me wanna heave lol but i am psyched about the ntsc moniker on the dvd for the rox box , maye juts maybe i’ll be able to play unplugged for my mum without having to put it on vhs from my computer :)
carbon_boy said on September 9, 2006 15:29:
Oh LEO. Let’s not go there...again. Even you must admit that people at least picked up HAND to have a look - compared to RS where everyone just walked on by (Most ppl didnt even know they released it! I still get asked at parties at my place about it when I play TCOTH). And as a side note: KM said to me that it was conceptualy different and loud, cos HAND was different and loud.
ANYWAYS, I have to say, I’m a bit dissapointed in the cover pics. But at the same time it will probably tie in with the concept of the booklet - and seeing that Rox were “celebrating” their 10 year anniversary when these were taken, it does make some sence.
Hopefully we havent seen the height of Roxette’s career yet, and they’l surprise with 2 AWESOME tracks!
Cheers cheers ;o)

Oh well, if the box is so released in Russia, we can expect the internet to be flooded with mp3’s from it in a matter of days :P
ATLTK said on September 9, 2006 23:33:
hard for a collector to buy ever release.. but fu that its released there
coyboyusa said on September 10, 2006 14:56:
i still think the picture of them back to back in the center of the cover to rarities is the best picture of them ever
Emil__BG said on September 10, 2006 15:55:
Santi- no need to wait for Russian Rox box–mp3s will be in the net even if EMI realise the box in Andorra ;-).
The biggest torrents sites aren’t in Russia or Bulgaria..
Make a search in the net and you will understand something more veracious than political correct “TRUTH” .
In the matter of fact this news prove it!!
Great news!!
about pix–like it or not –such pix sells..

price of RoxBox: 78.95€!!!!! will you pay this price for only 14 unrelesed songs and 1 dvd????? world of fools!!! thank you very much Mr. Gessle. Perfect way to say “thanx fans”. I´m not so rich like you or marie. You are rich because of me and so many fans around the world.
rox is dead for me. thanx again Per.
britnito said on September 10, 2006 19:06:
carlitos...rox is dead in the world... they just release new stuff only for us, the fans,. and this is what we get?¿? haha... well, 45 millions albums sold? you can add 45 copies more to that amount... please, they didn´t sell anything with roomservice, or TPH o TBH ..is mr gessle expecting to sell something with this horrible releases? ha..it makes me laugh.... thx for eMule cuz this is the only way i´m getting the songs i don´t have..it is not worthwhile to pay for a box like that....
wel, sorry, this is the way i think... so many years like fan and we don´t get nothing...not new stuff nor a new pic either!..wow.. can´t believe it... ..the box has a nice pic, but OLD...
A LOT OF MANY MANY NEW BANDS AND Singer, and so edit very good and nice stuff for the fans and for everyone.... and being a fan for so many years of roxette it was kind of worthwhile.... i´m so disapointed....
and WHAT DOES MARIE THINK ABOUT ALL THIS?¿?¿?.....
zeeshan said on September 11, 2006 00:59:
I think they want Per and Marie to look a bit young with this release :)
ally77 said on September 11, 2006 07:09:
@ carlitos .... I’ll pay for it, I think it’s a good price... but then I always did have more money than sense! lol
Sjoman said on September 13, 2006 11:01:
I won’t buy it cos it too expensive for THAT, I would better download these songs in mp3, cos you know that Russia don’t care about copyrights, especially if performer from Andora )))
to Santi: :b
