Well, that is GOOD NEWS indeed! It would be fantastic to hear “One Wish” on Canadian radio.
*keep my fingers crossed*
Thanks for sharing that Chris.

Hopefully they go over there to promote. Maybe some tv-shows? Or a gala show of some sort.
I’d love to see them there as I’m planning a trip to Canada to see some hockey. Hopefully I can match the dates (if they go there to promote).

We know both Per and Roxette’s manager have been working on this (US release), but not sure of the outcome yet.

the us thing will be bothed like the usa hits one was last time...very late in their pormotional schedule and up against a new album release....so nothing will happen unless one wish is a killer tune...but even if it is unless it has a bunch of half naked jungle bunnies grinding their big arses in it noone will care...i so wanna move :(

Normal and deluxe versions? They mean the CD and the Rox Box, right? :-) Just making sure. I know that EMI Canada has been good to us in the past for Roxette releases, so I’m not too surprised about this announcement. :-) Early Christmas present for myself!

no the deluxe version is just the normal GH with a bonus DVD with 18 videos

re: sleeve - I think it is the real one - it’s the one on EMI’s site anyway! Then again, they could have just grabbed it from somewhere else (TDR, perhaps? (-: ).
daniel_alv said on September 3, 2006 21:05:
The sleeve is also used on soap.com, but not for the rox box so I guess this is the real sleeve...

YES! I don’t have to import it! Hoping to hear the new single on radio soon!

We’re planning to rebroadcast my interview with Per on our stations this fall - in advance of “One Wish”
Cheers!

Great news! Here’s hoping that “One Wish” will get some airplay on Canadian radio :-)

I guess I’ll just have to go on a road trip up to visit friends in Canada to get my hands on the RoxBox. I just hope that the inclusive DVDs are made for our television format! I just wish that there was something more concrete in the way of a U.S. release....

I think we’ll get the same releases here in Argentina: the new GH and (maybe) the deluxe edition. The big question is WHEN. I suppose in late October. I also wonder if we will get the “Spanish” edition or the normal one, with all the tracks in English. Anyway, if we get the Spanish issue here, I am open for swapping! :-D
Out of topic: I don’t know if other people noticed this, but when I refreshed the news, there was a new article about Cascada’s cover of HDYD! And now it’s gone! (Thank God, haha)

@Kalinka: The region code for DVDs is the same in Canada and the US and both are NTSC, so - no problem!

It’s really a crazy situation here in the USA. I wish we knew exactly what’s going on with the Rox20 releases in the US concerning wether there will be releases or not. This way, we in the US, could know if we will have to import the releases or buy it domestically.
It would help a lot! :-)
Take care!

I would love it if that was the offical cover (iconic image of marie and per as most would remember them) , AS i could not cope with something that looked like the one wish cover , would push me over the edge lol.
MiracleMan said on September 4, 2006 20:54:
Well, at least we know if the Canadian release has a DVD, it will work for those of us in the US. If the RoxBox comes through for our northern neighbors, we’ll be alright (DVDwise).

@FanBoy: We don’t know yet, unfortunately. I would be VERY surprised if we did, but then it seems like Australia’s getting the box, and if they get something - we usually do too.
Roxrider_USA said on September 5, 2006 01:47:
Well, Roxette has a page on Capitol Records dot com site.
However, there’s no news about anything, no discography and not even a biography. At least they have the link to roxette.se .
Hope that changes!

It will be great if USA fans don’t have to import from other country. Now, I should keep my finger crossed :)

Nice to see other countries getting release dates. I’m still waiting for EMI Australia to show something, but somehow don’t think that’s gonna happen :-(
