Mtv Unplugged -> The next disappointment

Ola !
after the roxbox shock, the next bad message.
You can see the tracklist on the frontpage of the dvd. you can see that the videos begin with number 16. I follow of that, that only 15 tracks are left for the MTV Unplugged. I’ve got a selfmade MTV unplugged with that 15 tracks, it’s just the “normal” on MTV shown concert, not the complete with FADING... and so on.
Great to see how important fans are for EMI .....
THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!

I just came to the same conclusion. Although it’s great to have the unplugged show, it would have been even better to have the whole show.
I’m wondering why they haven’t got a tracklist though?? don’t they know the order of songs either??

We can’t say much about the unplugged, we don’t know which songs that are cut out, and also it can be MTV that is mean and doesn’t want them to have the full show... also we don’t know for sure how many songs we will get, even if it looks like we’ll get 15...

It wouldn’t surprise me if the raw video material of the concert simply isn’t available anymore. Could be that MTV only archives the final versions of their shows.

They junked loads of Live Aid stuff, as did most US broadcasters..., but MTV did it between now and 1995, cos I’ve seen footage that didn’t make the DVD on a 10th Anniversary special on the BBC! So they probably don’t have it anymore!

Well, I don’t think we can blame EMI for EVERYTHING. Per owns his songs, if he wants to realese something I guess he can talk himself to a solution. IF i wanted to realese The Big L. (demo) and Crush on you remixes, I don’t think EMI would have stopped him.
