Dance Passion
I Want You
Sweden Live
Crash! Boom! Live! (the Johannesburg concert)
MTV Unplugged (as mentioned before)
And any other thing we haven’t seen or heard of yet (including any extra stuff that was edited out of what we’ve already seen... e.g. extra scenes in the Making of Joyride)
And perhaps some GT or solo stuff unavailable outside Europe...
thomasc said on July 17, 2006 13:30:
I don’t want to see any Solo stuff unless it’s in English.
The Marie Demos would be good that she recorded for HAND etc...
rox-kuryliw said on July 17, 2006 13:59:
one thing people LOL , as for gt or solo stuff no way this is roxette.
miss-misery said on July 17, 2006 16:20:
A brand new album with lots of brand new songs as a surprise for faithful fans, heehee.
One thing I would HATE to see in the Rox Box: Songs in Spanish. One album was more than enough, my ears are still bleeding!!
Fortius said on July 17, 2006 17:47:
Good one miss misery! I agree. I also would like to see the complete unplugged performance, even the part when Marie talks in swedish. And of course things we have never heard or seen before.
CoyRoy said on July 17, 2006 19:20:
Look Sharp! Live / Sweden Live
Live-Ism
Live In Zurich
Live In USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (never seen a USA concert)
MTV Unplugged (all 21/22 songs)
Crash! Boom! Live!
Room Service Live
and LOADS AND LOADS OF PICTURES!!!!!!!!!
I love pictures of Roxette - still collect them like a little teenage boy!!!!!
Room_service said on July 18, 2006 03:15:
CoyRoy, only one DVD will be included. And it will be the MTV Unplugged, apparently.
I’d like:
- Crush On You remixes, that were never released.
- I Want You, with E. Dahlgren and Ratata (great song!)
- Some remixes from Dance Passion (never available officially on CD before)
- The Spanish version of You Don’t Understand Me, that was recorded (apparently) but finally vetoed.
- Other mixes never available on CD before, like Chances (Dancehall version)
- Demos of songs we don’t know. Demos of songs that were finished and released (like TCOTH) are not that exciting.
n-Somnia said on July 18, 2006 06:38:
Oh yeah... I would love to hear the songs listed on the cassette tapes pictured on the album cover of Tourism (e.g. “How Can I Take a Chance on You?”)
m-cvk said on July 18, 2006 11:36:
Some songs/demos that have not been released (or showed up on i-net or bootlegs), like
Being with you
Ghost in the house
Hold on my heart – demo version Per
Holiday
Liberame amor (= you don’t understand me Spanish version)
Loud clothes
Only when I dream
Only you
Rainclouds
Rocket from her heart
Turn of the tide
Crush on you – demo, remixes
Svarta Glass + other Swedish versions of the POP album
Songs that Marie has written for Roxette but that ’did not fit the album’ (I’m not talking about the previous found songs like ’new world’ etc)
Santi said on July 18, 2006 14:18:
“Libérame amor”... :ssssss
I think I never want to hear that... What a ***** title...
rox-kuryliw said on July 18, 2006 21:06:
the only reason id like to hear tcoth the oring version is that it was a slow song to start off with and ballad feel to it. for the version we know they changed producer and speeded up the vocals.
Room_service said on July 19, 2006 02:26:
Liberame amor? I don’t think that’s the title of the Spainish version of YDUM. Where did you find that? That’s too short to fit the verse where Marie sings “You don’t understand me...”
“Tu no me comprendes” is the translation of “You don’t...” and it has the same number of syllabes, it fits the music. It makes more sense to me.
tevensso (moderator) said on July 19, 2006 09:25:
The original TCOTH isn’t a ballad, it’s almost as fast as the version released. As always Per exaggerates a bit.
chrisjankunas said on July 19, 2006 09:28:
Hey Tev - do you have any reason to think that a Stars Rock / Pop demo exists? Cause I wondered when the booklet says a transformation in the studio took place - have an idea at all?
tevensso (moderator) said on July 19, 2006 09:29:
I haven’t heard a rock version, but I do hope it exists.
davidc4 said on July 19, 2006 10:18:
i would like to see a song written by Per called F**k EMI and it would be about the UK and US fans being pissed off with the lack of Roxette releases
miss-misery said on July 19, 2006 11:44:
“Liberame amor”... what a crap title!! Has anybody killed the guy who made the translations?? He deserves the most severe punishment possible!!!
I guess what we all want in the Rox-Box is new or unreleased material. And yes, I’d love to hear a rock version of Stars. This might make me like the song a little bit :)
I’d also like to hear some covers that Roxette might have done of other artists. Apart from the ones in the Unplugged and “Help”, does anybody know about any?? Do they exist?? If they’re gonna be like “Heart of Gold”, I do want them in the Rox-Box!!
Rox-Van said on July 19, 2006 17:07:
Yeahh “svarta glas” = Neverendig Love (please Gessle, don’t be cruel ;) ...
whateveriam said on July 19, 2006 18:29:
Hanging On The Telephone!!! A decent copy of that, that would make my day.
Oh yeah, what else, oh decisions, decisions...Never mind the Rox Box, what about a Dance Passion reissue on CD?
regn said on July 19, 2006 20:32:
*Liberame amor ; was a spanish version of IMHBL performed by a mexican singer years before Baladas en español*
I like to hear IMHBL demo (hope) Per on vocals ja ja
whateveriam said on July 20, 2006 11:38:
Thing I wouldn’t like to see, and I know I will be shot for this, but I don’t care, is Unplugged. I would prefer it, if we ever get it, as a seperate DVD issue. Can I be the only person who has never understood the fuss? Roxette have done far better live stuff. It’s Unplugged, yeah, so what? It’s become a bit Holy Grail-ish, like Bands Reunited trying to get The Smiths back together-virtually impossible to do.
miss-misery said on July 20, 2006 15:11:
Yeah, I’d like to see the Unplugged too. But I guess it’s because of Emi or MTV (or both) that they haven’t released it yet.
However, I think there are more possibilities of getting the Unplugged than of having the Smiths reunited :) And it would be a great extra in the RoxBox. A good reason to get it.
chrisjankunas said on July 20, 2006 16:02:
Especially if Fading Like A Flower and Spending My Time and other previously unreleased performances are included.
Other than that:
. Stars (Demo) - If it exists
. It Must Have Been Love (Demo)
. Never Is A Long Time (Per Demo)
. Crush On You Remixes - don’t like the song that
much but curious to hear them anyway
. Dressed For Succeses (Demo)
. I Was So Lucky (Golden one) or what it was called
Hope for some of these but looking forward to stuff I haven’t a clue about ;)
pwbbounce (moderator) said on July 20, 2006 16:15:
I’m looking forward to the 2 new songs more than the entire Boxset. Just nothing mentioned has got me excited yet, except the 2 new tracks. I just hope they’re gonna by brilliant!
Room_service said on July 20, 2006 17:24:
I got a demo of Dressed For Success, but it’s not that exciting. Marie’s performance is not as strong as in the album version, sounds weak. That proves she was in fact very angry and tired of the song when the record took place, as you can read in the DBU booklet!
Sascha said on July 20, 2006 17:40:
Myth and Monster Hangover. For the DVD much ’behind the scenes’ footage!
chrisjankunas said on July 20, 2006 18:16:
@ Room Service
Yeah but the quality of that file is quite bad IMO - certainly not up to scratch as the released demos are.
Room_service said on July 21, 2006 02:27:
I don’t care much about Myth and Monster Hangover, because maybe they are rubbish (like other demos I have heard, Love Spins and such).
Caleb said on July 21, 2006 16:00:
Hown can i take a chance with you? tourism time

tevensso (moderator) said on July 21, 2006 16:11:
“The Hole in the Ace and Diamons in the ocean” now what is that??
domini77 said on July 21, 2006 21:24:
I would love to see on the DVD some impressions of the “Room Service Tour” from 2001! I went to see the show in Zuerich, Switzerland with a friend of mine and it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen!!!!! It was a fantastic and unforgetable night!!!! I especially loved the moment when Marie and Per were standing in the middle of the crowd and playing “Fading like a flower” and “Spending my time” in an accoustic version and the whole crowd was singing with them! That was so BEAUTIFUL! You can find “Fading like a flower” on the B-Side of the “Opportunity Nox” single. I think it was recorded during the Room Service show in Bruxelles, Belgium. Sounds fantastic and it always reminds me the show in Zuerich! :-)

1) 9-2-5 Enjoy your life, 2) Ambiguous, 3) At your side, 4) Bitter tears, 5) Each hearts beat with an echo, 6) My nose touched yours, 7) Tospy turvy, 8) Why not (don’t hesitate), 9) You and I, 10) You mean a lot to me .
That will do!
tevensso (moderator) said on July 22, 2006 09:15:
Ha ha, yeah that’ll be the day! I hope you’re joking as those “songs” are all fake. :)
Madeline said on July 22, 2006 17:28:
@tevensso
I know you’re a non-believer. But ’I do believe’, I know there’s a disk containing them I’ve seen it on the net. And I know that not all on the net is true but this seemed really thrustful.
Maybe there is a small chance you’re right but WE both hope you’re not.
Debora said on July 22, 2006 20:35:
Libérame amor???? God! I don’t want to listen to it. If the translation to Spanish was made by the same guy of “Baladas en español” it is much better not listen to it! I love the lyrics in English.
I would like to see, a big autographed poster with a phrase saying sth like: Thanks for these 20 years together.
tevensso (moderator) said on July 22, 2006 22:30:
The is NO chance that these songs exist, at least not recorded by Roxette. Believe me. :)
