Agree with crashroxer 91/92
That was also when they were HUGE here in Serbia. I think maybe in the whole world as well.
Sparvogamarie said on March 24, 2006 05:27:
You mean their best year careerwise, or just our favourite years? Best career year was 1991 for sure. My fave year was 2000 (well not Rox exactly but Marie during her Äntligen album, she had a great look and attitude that year).

For me it’s ’93, because although they had no major releases that year, their popularity was huge, and you could hear their songs anywhere. Even in Russia ;) They still had their “pre-CBB” sound, Marie still had her hair and looked fabulous ;) It was a great year.

1991/1992 and 1993 then they was the first pop group in the world!
They won Bravo Gold Otto and Popcorn’s and MTV awards!

My favorite musical era was 1994/1995, but image wise I don’t really know. Either Look Sharp! or TBH/TPH time. Both of them looked good in either of these
JimPhelps said on March 24, 2006 09:16:
My favorite is also 94/95 because cbb is one of my favorites... there is the guitar-sound...!!! :-)

Yeah, I have to agree with 2001, the Room Service Era. Marie was sooooo HOT!!!

Ebay:
Marie was so hot,so sexy,so glomorous,she’s a top lady.She’s the best.
The TBH & TPH era would’ve been more great than the RS era!!!!!
The_Joyrider said on March 24, 2006 18:33:
Obviously the best moment for Roxette was the Joyride era. No one should have a doubt about that !!!
RobS said on March 24, 2006 23:14:
Best time of their career, definitely 91/92.
My favorite year, probably 94/95, when i got to go to a concert.
Image wise, probably around RS, and TPH/TBH
Fortius said on March 25, 2006 03:10:
100% agree with RobS.
1991-1992 the best years of Roxette´s carrer, and also in 95 I went to THE concert.
The_Joyrider said on March 25, 2006 03:55:
Come on!!! What are you all talking about ??? I didn’t choose the Joyride era because “it was my first Roxette concert” or because “it was the first Roxette album I bought”. We are talking about JOYRIDE, Roxette’s most sold album (and still selling) and one of the most succesful albums of the 90s. It was a worldwide boom. If Look Sharp had reached many countries, Joyride was the album that made Roxette famous all around the world. I can remember celebrating my 8th birthday when I was a small kid at my grandma’s house and it was decorated with Roxette stuff: napkins, table cloth, glasses, everything with the photo of Mary and Per. I can even tell you that I have some friends now that only listen to heavy metal and they hate pop music but the confessed that in 1992 they went to the Roxette concert here in Argentina because EVERYBODY WAS CRAZY ABOUT ROXETTE !!! I hope I convinced you all. Thanks.

The best year when it comes to popularity is undoubtedly 1991-92. Personally, I liked the ’94-’95 and ’99 era most. Even though some people here probably want to shoot me for saying it, but still consider ’Have A Nice Day’ their best album, followed by C!B!B! & RS.

I THINK 1999 WAS THE LAST GREAT YEAR FOR THEM INTERNATIONALLY BUT 2001 WAS GODD TOO BUT IN TERMS OF SUCCESS IT WOULD HAVE TO BE 1990-1992
Galning said on April 12, 2006 21:42:
Well definitely 1995. The new songs on DBUGTTC where the best they ever did and in 1995 there was also the CBB-Tour still... And (about Gesse): The Lonely Boys was one of the best things he ever did and the new GT-Songs from that time were great. And TWATG in 96/97. It was Gessles best ever time...

Well fact is that 1991-93 was the real “high” time for Roxette with all their success. My personal best time was 94 with being to a concert during their world tour. And 2001 was great too....
