German help

Hi,
Can anyone help me with a question regarding postage ...
I have 6 posters (max size 65cmX85cm) coming to Australia from Germany. The cost is EUR25 normal (airmail) or EUR55 registered. The cost for registered post seems really high and I wonder whether it is somewhat inflated.
Registered post is important because the first set of posters have not arrived and these are replacements. I have agreed with the seller (a German poster shop) to pay for postage again if they send the posters again.
Thanks for any help given.

Well, I think 55 Euros might actually sound about right. I had to pay 8 Euros for a registered CD from Germany > Ireland.
