What things do you like on Roxette?

I like:
1. music, of course
2. their modesty (they don´t make a big stars from themself but they are......)
3. they don´t make a scandals like many other artists
4. they don´t smoke

They are a normal people like me or you....

- the style of Per and Marie

@Breathe: I don’t know if she goes on, but Marie smoked. Anyway, I understand you mean and I agree ;)

Today, when I was watching the documentary “Really Roxette” on the Ballad & Pop Hits DVD, I started wondering why, after 14 years, I still like them and I like them now more than before. Why is that? The answer is, besides their wonderful songs and voices, they are the kind of people I like. They don’t like scandals, they don’t do drugs, they don’t believe they’re stars. Maybe we don’t hear anything about them for a long time, but when they release a nwe CD, we run to buy it because we will never forget them. Only real IDOLS can do that. And they are my idols for being real people like everyone, not only for singing good songs.

Since I knew Roxette in 1995 (before I had heard some of Roxette but my age was so low) has been my favourite music band. it hasn’t changed 10 years later. And I think it’s likely it doesn’t change. :)

I also admire Roxette don´t fly with private plane on tour. When some people ask on it, they say “We are not stars”.
