Official Promo Remixes
LuckyStar said on March 26, 2005 21:27:
Hi!
Could you make me a list of official remixes available only on cd promo or 12” promo?
PS:...what about “Wish I Could Fly” and “Milk And Toast And Honey” remixes?
Thanks!

I’d really like to know about the “The Centre of the Heart” promo-only remixes that appeared on a Greek promo CD... somebody had them on a website at one time, but they disappeared before I could hear them. I’m pretty sure that at least some of them were Stonebridge mixes, but the CD promo contained all of the mixes on the European commercial CD single *plus* a bunch of others. It’s the “others” that I’m curious about...
Incidentally, this CD isn’t mentioned in “The Look for Roxette” and I’ve only seen it for sale once on eBay...

Stars (Almighty 7” Mix) and Stars (Almighty Single Version) are slightly different. At least to me! The timming for both versions is 3.50, anyway. But they sound different to me, specially in the first seconds.
I’m not sure about the Greek release, maybe it’s a bootleg version. I don’t think they produced some remixes just to be released in Greece. And if it’s not mentioned in the book, it makes me think twice about it. I bet all the remixes of “The Centre Of The Heart” were released on the European maxi-single.

There is no any unique remix on that Greek Promo CD, they were just named differently

Thanks AntiMario !!!
...is Stars (Almighty 7” Mix) available on commercial cd single? I’ve seen it only on promo cd for radios (my commercial Stars maxi single has the “Almighty Single Version”).
Are “AC Mixes” very different compared with album versions?
tevensso (moderator) said on March 27, 2005 11:04:
Yes, the AC mixes are for the most part very different. Some, like Almost Unreal and Fading are not VERY different, but still different enough.

Stars (Almighty 7” Mix) is the first track on the “Stars - Remixes” maxi-single. That one features the same sleeve of the maxi you already have, but the backgraound is in yellow and the stars in red.

in alot of the ac mixes the guitars are replaced with keyboards n the drums r toned down

...another question:
Is Stars(Almighty 7” Mix) and Stars(Almighty Single Version) the same remix?
