Some of you are hopefully aware, through media coverage that the chemistry department at Exeter University is closing. I hope we have kicked up enough of a stink to prevent this but we could all do with your help!
If you could all send an email to [email protected] I, and the rest of the department would be extremely greatful. The more people that email, even if its a blank email, the better chance we have of stopping this.

I work at the Chemical Engineering department of the Delft University of Technology, so I know what you are talking about.
Here there are also plans to reorganize, costing up to 500 jobs ;(
