Stockholm in January

Hej alla!

In January 2005 me, my bf and a friend of ours will go to Stockholm. I wonder what (in generally) the weather is like during that time of the year.
Can anyone tell me? Thanx in advance!

I should imagine very cold, and lots of snow... in my opinion, like a christmas card... and wonderful.. lucky you! :)

That’s what I’m hoping for :-) I keep my fingers crossed that there’s a lot of snow...

I hope it will be cold and a lot of snow!
I’ll be there too :)

I’d imagine Stockholm kind of like Helsinki in January... not that much of snow - something like 0-5 minus degrees Celsius...annoying weather... wet snow etc... :/

i’m going to see REM in Stockholm at the end of January.... hoping for some snow here too! :D

I am planning a little trip to Stockholm end of January beginning of Feb, so please send some SNOW! :)

I’m going in a couple of weeks. Its gonna be cold. The best thing to do is wear lots of cotton layers. Wear strong shoes and don’t forget the hat scarf and gloves. Ur chances of snow are alot higher than in Skåne, put it that way. :-)

It’s gonna be cold and first of all: DARK! :)

I went last January to see the NRJ awards. There was a loto of snow and it wasn’t all that cold. If you wear gloves and a hat you are more than alright. The only thing that I wasn’t confortable enough were my feet. I had to put two pair of socks on!
The sun goes down at about 15.00 if I remember well.

yes! very dark. I was amazed when I was there once late November, it was 14:00 or 15:00 in the afternoon and it felt like late at night :O

I guess the shock wouldn’t be that big now that I live in Vienna but by then I traveled from Spain hehe

And cold, snowed hopefully :D

I just booked my trip to Sweden for end of January this afternoon, will be the first time I have been in January, as I normally go Decemeber.... but with started a new job next month it ain’t practical. So opting for a change and going in January... :D

It’s usually horribly cold and dark there in Jan-Feb. There could be snow, but I’d say there’s a 50% chance of that. Very windy.

*packs hair straighteners and dumps the sunglasses*

lol. fair enough. I’d pack a hat instead/oam//

Lots of snow, and wind, roll on 27th January! :)

Sounds beautiful ! :-)
