Nope, they’re called Labradoodles alright (hmm... maybe it doesn’t matter!)... my friend has one and they are GREAT dogs, friendly and fun, but not too hyper. I didn’t like dogs very much at all before meeting Theus (the Labradoodle, not my friend!) but now I want a Labradoodle of my own!

I have to add that I used to take care of this dog while my friend was out of town and people constantly came up to me to ask, “Is that a Labradoodle?!” or “What kind of dog is that?!”... very cool. Some stranger on the street told me they originated in Australia...

I think they’re ugly dogs to be honest. :(
BUT the fact it says... low to non-shedding coat, low allergy coat, and lack of doggie odour... it gets my vote!
HATE dog hairs... and HATE the smell!

Yep, and I believe they where originally breed, for a blind lady who was allergic to regular dog hair!
My mum’s friend has a labradoodle pup now, she takes in guide dog puppies and has done for the past 8 years. Labradoodles are quite a frequent site on the streets on my dog (we have a training school near by only 1 of 2 in the UK in my town!)

:S what an ugly name
anyway, there are so many dogs (and other animals) in pet homes waiting for somebody to pick them up and take care of them, would never pay for a “pure race” pet.

OW no its not the dog you meant that i said ,The dogs that i was on about are just HUge poodles really ! look nothing like the dogs on that page :-S wrong breed.
ps @ Judith i know what your saying about the pure breed ones, But i have a pure breed one and i say someone has to look after him (my dog) aswell, rather me who i know i would love and care to bits. Than someone who is gonna show him at shows ect and the lock him up in a kenal at the other times :-( . It happens alot.

Calling an animal Snickerdoodle, I think stick beating is somewhat unnescessary. They are their own worst enemy ;-) oam

Did you watch ’Coronation street’ last night by any chance? :D
Fizz is called a ’Labradoodle’ by Kirk. LOL! It probably does exist, but probably isn’t called a ’Labradoodle’!
