What do you think about that? Maybe that’s the new way for artists to distribute music. Record companies won’t have influence on the music anymore, so maybe we will go back to times when we can enjoy music the way the artist wants to be heard…

Wise words: “I’ve been very well remunerated as they say for my talents over the years so I really don’t need the public’s money. I’d really like to have something on the Internet with charitable donation optional, where anyone can download my music for free. I’ll have my favourite charities up there and people will hopefully contribute to that”.
I think a lot of people should learn this and follow George Michael’s example, specially those with compilations every year and “new” products with only one different from the old ones.

thismakes me suspicious as his label was planning to drop him and word has it the labels he shopped to turned him down. Shame he’s very talented and while the internet venture is a good idea yah have to rember not all his fanshave pcs or internet so its not a great thing for them

What did people think of the album?
I liked song “Amazing” very much.
But IMO the album Patience overall was pretty weak. Not many strong melodies and way too many samples :(

I loved his album. The songs weren’t about a girl meeting a boy but about life experiences, his life experiences and I found them to be great at times quite sad.

I think it’s a great idea. I’m sick of greedy artists. Did anyone see the episode of South Park about that topic? If you didn’t see it, they were making fun of greedy celebrities who oppose downloading and saying things like now Britney can’t have her own luxury jet and Metallica can’t have gold plated swimming pools. It’s true, they make enough money.

Wow. That’s very interesting. Not quite sure what to say about that. I guess if he still makes his music available via the Internet that will be okay.
