This has turned into SUCH an issue, that it’s not even worth listening to anymore. It is just stupid to scream about it, but it was a stupid thing to do at a “family event”. The only surprising thing was that a tit-flash was broadcast on a national NETWORK television event. Americans see lots of boobs—and A LOT MORE—on pay cable.
The preformers claim wardrobe malfunction, but it was so obviously deliberate. . .unless Janet Jackson wears a nipple shield EVERY DAY. . .
The whole thing is stupid and ridiculous and I’d REALLY rather hear something WORTHY of our attention as the TOP news story. Fine the performers, fine the networks and SHUT THE F*CK UP about it.

I was watching the event with my family. Everything just happened so fast that noone really noticed except myself. I looked at my brother and he went: meh! So I don’t think many people cared much. According to a poll on Canada.com, 52.6% say that wasn’t such a big deal; At least to people here in Canada. I am not sure why they made such a big deal out of this when one can take off her/his clothes and see nipples. That wasn’t such a big deal to me to read about the topic on every newspaper and internet news site the next day. Not to offend Americans but I do believe Americans make a big deal out of every little thing, most of the times things that are not even worth caring about. And yes I do think it was pre-planned. Cause they themselves didn’t look shocked. They showed Janet shocked but aaa I dunno.

No one said “All”, but laws are generally backed up by the concesus of the majority, the “morals” and tradition....
If you want more examples of American conservatism look at the movies rating system...
let’s use a new movie, and famous like Lost in translation:

I know not everyone is conservative over there... but the ruling majority seems to be, that’s what your laws show.

Ya know, this happened so quickly that I missed it!! Then again, I wasn’t paying much attention, as the whole halftime show stunk beyond belief, if you ask me!! All spectacle, no substance, and horrible music for the most part!! The only thing decent was Kid Rock and JT, but I didn’t pay attention to Janet, as I HATE Janet, and all the Jacksons!!

BTW, I really do believe it was both spontaneous and unplanned. Yes, Justin was supposed to rip off that bit of armor, but supposedly, there was supposed to be a red bra underneath, but it collapsed...still, it hilariously made the news, and I just laugh about it...my mom was up in arms about it, calling it distasteful, but I’m like, Mom, take a chill pill!!

The early morning Today Show, some years back, had a woman flash her breasts as the camera went by a few years ago. It was broadcast live on the East coast, but doctored for the rebroadcast in the other time zones. Someone’s always doing something.

I was cleaning up my closet when I came across a stack of FCUK® t-shirts of mine. French Connection is one of my favourite brand names. I love their designs especially their t-shirts. Don’t get me started on the dresses. Ok t-shirts.
FCUK stands for French Connection United Kingdom. There are a few locations here in British Columbia and I know there are many in Europe. A few years ago, one store existed in Mission Viejo Mall, California. The next time I went back there, there was none! They’d shut down the store due to public’s request. They mentioned that FCUK is very controversial and wearing a t-shirt with such logo is unacceptable in the US. I was totally shocked. It’s just a logo! How come people wear Playboy t-shirts proudly?! Wow! So I was all mad swearing at stupid people like they were, so shallow-minded. Then I came back to Canada telling the story. One lady did not like my t-shirts though. Once she pulled me over telling me it’s far from a girl as beautiful as me ;) to wear such controversial clothes. I reponded: it stands for French Connection United Kingdom and IT IS a brand name. I got pissed every once in a while when people asked. Professionals and educated could totally tell it was a registered brand name since it has a ® right beside it. Common public wouldn’t know. All I wanted to say is that yes here in Canada people were offended at times but the stores are still open and operating pretty well in downtown Vancouver. Yet they closed down the one down in Mission Viejo where people dress to be funky and different and claim how open they are to all that’s out there. I felt like mentioning this :).
