LTYH CD-single on Ebay (Crazy?!)

I just saw that a LTYH CD-single ended on *drumroll* 205 POUNDS!! Yes you read correctly, 205 UK Pounds!!! Sure, it is the one with serial number CDEM108, which is a bit rare, but come on!! At least I think the stupidity level has been reached on Ebay now. It has been more than crazy for some time now, but this takes the gold medal!

Mind, it’s easily done... I bid £104 instead of £1.04! Luckily I noticed in time, unlike this chap. Lets hope the seller is an understanding chap! ;)

Na, I think it was someone taking the pi$$, because he/she realised this person had made a mistake, he/she registered to bump up the proxy bid, and because they never got ’outbid’ they kept going... I think it was someone abusing ebay... not a genuine buyer.

In that case I feel really sorry for the winner! Hope the seller is nice. If I would be the seller I think I would offer the winner to pay the Ebay fees (since they get rather high at such amounts) and then let it be with that. Everyone can make a mistake.

If you look at the bidding history, there is two people(Possibly 1) with 0 feedback, I didn’t think to check when they joined, but when the CD is in the completed items, I will... just for my own curiosity.
It’s not on, but it happens.
I had it when I bid wrong, but ebay removed my bid for me, and I was able to bid the right amount, as I had gone past the time I could remove it myself.

The buyer made an error.. I saw his mistake also so I emailed him to advise did he know what he had done. Unfortunatly due to the time difference where he is, by the time he relised his mistake the auction ended... He’s a nice guy he just made an error.... hopefully he will beable to sort it out with the seller... :)
